The Grill is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that caters to all people. We have multiple Tv’s for any sports event with cold drinks and great bar food. We also have a dining side catered to families and friend get togethers with a menu featuring breakfast everyday until 3pm, great weekly specials, and brunch starting at 9am every Saturday and Sunday!

I came for breakfast and the food was AMAZING!! The service was very good. The music selection is good as well. I cocktails are good and strong. The prices are good and you get plenty of food. I will come back to try lunch and dinner menu.
So I came back the next day to try lunch…I had the byo cheese steak. I was seasoned perfectly and with all the other toppings I add truly made this an AMAZING sub and the tater tots are good with a nice crunch. I’ll be back to try other menu foods.

Good food and a lot of it! The Grill might seem low-key at first glance, but don’t let that fool you—the food is actually really solid. Just make sure you bring your appetite, because the portions are huge.
I ordered the cod tacos with mango, zucchini fries, and coleslaw, and I was genuinely impressed. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. I had hoped to mix and match the tacos (one pork and two cod), but they only allow one protein choice per order of three—not a dealbreaker, just something to note.
Everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals too. This was the third restaurant we tried for dinner in the Richmond area, and honestly, if you’d shown me all three beforehand, The Grill probably would’ve been my last pick. But surprisingly, it turned out to be the best of the bunch.
A pleasant surprise and definitely worth checking out.

Went for brunch! Food portions are amazing. Customization of orders was done to perfection. And the quality of food was also good. It has been a while that I have gotten brunch and felt the amount paid was worth it. This felt like good value matching the price and quality. Will be back.

Stopped by for quick bite during the day, place was kind of loud and busy, but we didn’t mind it. Started with fried oysters and we were stunned! Very pleasent surprise, such freshness and softness, we couldn’t stop eating it. I tried many oysters in life, usually not fried, but this one was one of a kind! Couldn’t decide what we should have for entree, so we ordered smokehouse platter to share and to try a bit of everything. There was quite some meat, and we had more than enough. I liked pulled pork most, brisket was dry and not as tender as it should be, but everything was tasty and enjoyable, very affordable place.

Never have I ever written a review while I was still at the table finishing my food but here we are… The hostess was friendly. We were seated immediately during peak dinner hours. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The food came out fast and was also very delicious, and even the runner who brought us the food was friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Nothing to brag about. But they did have Bells Two Hearted Ale. That was the highlight. Fish and Chips were just OK. I’ll give it another try, but there are so many better places in RVA. Maybe it’s just a great neighborhood bar?

2017-11-18 breakfast (2 eggs, toast and sausage patties), server/waitress, bathrooms and decor were all excellent! We had to go around to the back and park our vehicle and walk around to the front entrance.
2017-12-02 breakfast (2 eggs, toast, sausage links, bacon, potatoes and waffle) was good and servers/personnel are always nice!

Really enjoyed the location. Food was really good and the service was really nice. Try the Monte Cristo it’s amazing! The raspberry sauce was tangy and a perfect compliment to the maple syrup.
