At this point, this Dairy Queen feels like a social experiment to test how long customers will tolerate chaos. Weeks without cotton candy sprinkles — weeks! It’s not 1842, and sprinkles aren’t a scarce resource. They’re sugar. Bright, happy, beautiful sugar that somehow this location treats like a rare fossil. Every time I ask, it’s the same tired “we’re out” excuse. How are you out of the one thing that makes the cotton candy Blizzard actually cotton candy?
Then there’s the headset situation — an absolute disaster. Employees yelling through broken equipment like it’s a game of telephone gone wrong. The drive-thru sounded like static and despair. It shouldn’t take a degree in communication to order ice cream.
It honestly feels like nobody here cares. Machines breaking, supplies missing, zero urgency to fix anything. The place looks fine, but the energy? Dead. The “Queen” part of Dairy Queen must’ve abdicated the throne, because this location is running like a kingdom in ruins.
Please, for the love of all things frozen and sweet, get it together. Fix your headsets. Restock the sprinkles. Stop turning every visit into a test of emotional endurance.

Really like this DQ. Food and service are always consistent. We stop here once a month for mini blizzards. Right now only the drive thru is open. They have cakes but the dinner room is locked.
We were in and out of the drive thru quickly tonight. The staff is polite, kind, and fast. Blizzards were made quickly.
Got two blizzards tonight and they were quickly made.

Everytime I order from them, they don’t listen. I asked for chocolate ice cream and they always do vanilla. Why can’t they just get it correct?

We have 2 Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Ryan & Bosey who LOVE their Dairy Queen pup cups. One of their all time favorite things to do is to hop in the car and go get pup cups from DQ. Every time I ask them if they want a pup cup they FREAK out with excitement. The DQ workers are always so sweet to our boys and make sure to say hi to them. Once we get home Ryan and Bo cannot wait to eat their vanilla ice cream with a dog biscuit on top. It’s really the cutest thing ever. They got a pup cup today actually. The pup cups are $1.00, which you cannot beat that deal. Next time I will share a photo of them eating their favorite treat but just look at their adorable faces. Are they not the cutest?

They don’t only have great ice cream, one of the best fast food burger places hands down. Plus they are super fast, don’t be afraid of a long line. Trust me McD, BK, and wendys could learn a lot from these people.

Chardon DQ is great & has capabilities to work with DQ mobile app. It’s unfortunate that not all DQ locations have the technology to work with the DQ mobile app. 1 thing the Chardon DQ is missing is the Grill capabilities. It’s too bad the Chardon DQ isn’t able to fafill the whole DQ & Grill menu. I am certain that they’d have no problem with their sales if they did.

This Dairy Queen is usually great, we come here regularly. But tonight there was a girl with pink hair at the window who was just not nice. Would recommend coming any night she’s not there. The evening crew is usually tremendous. Watch out for Pinky

After a week a generic response was published that provided an email address but not even the courtesy of an apology. Sadly, the exact response was provided to my companions also. If you check the recent reviews there are a few more customers who commented on a similar experience in the drive through with that employee. Perhaps DQ management should take a more serious look at their staff and listen to their customers, before we are not customers.
