Good Hariyali Chicken and samosas. First time trying samosas and it’s very nice. The butter chicken is perfect for people who don’t like spicy, i love spicy food but I don’t mind it. I would be back to try more of their food, it is something i look forward to. Service is good, it was busy when we visited and there is only 1 server but he did a great job. 1.5 hours waiting for the food is okay since it was worth it. But management can improve this during rush hours.

We tried the Nepalese Steamed Paneer Momos and Sweet Lassi, and both were absolutely delightful! The lassi was perfectly thick and sweet — just the way it should be. The momos were awesomely delicious, bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. Everything felt like it was served with genuine love and affection. A wonderful experience that left us wanting to come back for more!

The decor is lovely and relaxing. Service is prompt and attentive. And oh my the FOOD. There’s a lovely variety on the menu and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We’re on the less spicy side but others were more so and everyone was very satisfied. We ate in this time and would absolutely do that again but will also try the takeout. A great addition to Elmira.

On arrival, you first notice the tasteful decorating. A tin ceiling, white cloth tablecloth under glass, and nice lighting were pleasing to the eye. Having grown up in Elmira but having moved away years ago it was great to hear about The Flame House. It was recommended to us last year but due to our busy schedule we didn’t drop in then. That is our only regret , not coming sooner. We ordered a lamb curry, Chicken Tandoori, a mango lassi to share, and a side of yogurt with cucumber. The chicken tandoori came sizzling hot. Everything was prepared to perfection. We went away very happy. And we plan on returning on our next visit.

So glad to tried this new restaurant, a much needed sit down restaurant. Nice music, great renovation and gracious service with great hospitality, mixed with some humour. Tried a variety of dishes: momo, Hakka, Manchurian. All very good. It was well-paced service and delighted to see they were busy. Fresh good food. I highly recommend going there and supporting this local gem!

The butter naan was absolute perfection – fresh, pillowy, and straight from the tandoor. But the real star was their chicken tikka masala, with its rich, flavorful sauce that had us soaking up every last drop with our naan. The dishes came out piping hot and beautifully presented. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine in the Waterloo Region, Flame House is definitely worth the drive to Elmira!

A nice place to meet Indian cuisine,food is 4 stars because the food was too spicy for me. I recommend to try butter chicken and garlic naans with plain rice – it’s best combo!! (Not spicy) And the atmosphere with service is great,know I know why this place have 5 stars!
