Amazing fish tacos! Some of the best we have had on the islands. The 5 star rating this restaurant has is well deserved. They have a bunch of sauces to choose from as well. The carne asada and birria tacos were good as well. But the fish tacos are a must here!

Fish Tacos El Blue is one of those rare finds that reminds you why food trucks can completely outshine oceanfront restaurants. This family-operated gem at Olowalu Village, perfectly located between the airport and the Kaʻanapali resorts, serves some of the most flavorful, satisfying food we had on the island.
The fish tacos are outstanding — fresh, perfectly cooked, and boldly seasoned without overpowering the quality of the seafood. Every bite tastes intentional and made with care. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality easily rivals (and honestly surpasses) many expensive beachfront spots nearby.
What truly elevates El Blue is the heart behind it. You can feel the pride and warmth of a family business that genuinely cares about what they serve and the people they serve. No gimmicks, no inflated prices — just incredible food and real aloha.
Worth every penny. A must-stop on Maui. We would come back in a heartbeat.

A MUST for quick and delicious tacos-mahi mahi and shrimp were amazing. Carne asada was also super tasty, but spicy. Great quality, large portions and reasonable prices. Super friendly service and picnic tables.

Our party of two shared two Baja shrimp tacos and one Chicali burrito and the portions were generous enough to leave us satisfied.
The homemade salsa bar was the cherry on top to add to the already delicious dishes.
This place is located right off the side of the road, but it is worth making a stop or even going out of your way to try it. The lady at the counter was friendly as well.

Amazing food. The birra and fish tacos are the best we have ever had. We went twice on our recent trip because they are that good. Everything is thought out and planned. The fish is perfect, the birra is perfect, the slaw on the tacos is perfect, the tortillas are homemade. Little details like the burt cheese on the birra tacos are not by accident but part of the dish. Every taco has just the right amount of every ingredient. Food truck perfection.

We tried 4 wonderful tacos. Fish, shrimp, carne asada, and pork. Generous additions of their onion cabbage topping. Nice salsa bar with excellent choices. Very informative to our gluten sensitivity questions – they have flour and corn tortilla choices. Thank you for a great meal!

Absolutely incredible. Fish Tacos El Blue is hands down the best spot for tacos and burritos in Maui. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The salsas are next-level, and the entire place is family-run, which you can feel in the friendly, welcoming vibe. I bought food here multiple times for my family during our trip—we just couldn’t get enough. This spot is a true gem.

I order 1 shrimp and 1 fish taco plus a side of chips/salsa. It was delicious. The shrimp and fish are breaded and the taco itself is a good size and loaded with fillings that were flavorful and unique. They also added pickled veggies on the side which I enjoyed, too. There was also a salsa bar that is kept cold. They had a mango salsa that was delicious. I will be coming again and look forward to trying more things off the menu. The woman taking my order was also very friendly.
UPDATE: I came back another time and ordered the Baja Burrito (mahi mahi + shrimp). Loved it! Great portions. I also appreciated the quality of the tortillas!

Great baja fish tacos, my favorite I had on the whole island. Also had the shrimp taco which was equally as tasty! Went a couple of times during our stay.
