We were overcharged last night and given 1 less item from the set menu (from set menu 1, we didnt get a side dish). Our £1 change was given entirely as 5p coins. Do they expect us to return? The food was good but other places are good and dont behave like that.

Travelling through Carlisle. I rely on people’s reviews . Well, please take heed of this honest one! Ordered Spring rolls and Tom Yum soup . It wasn’t Tom Yum soup , it was 3 prawns in a thick chilli tasting wall paper paste , with green peppers .Tasted absolutely nothing like Tom Yum ! The so called spring rolls , where absolutely rank, they smelt foul and where filled with bean sprouts and some grey looking substance. A total waste of 13.60. The rancid food went in the park bin . When I asked about a refund in the shop , the lass had to make a phone call and there was an issue with my chosen order online provider . I have just come out of hospital and couldn’t be doing with the faff! I will be flagging it up with my bank and obtaining a refund . There is a pub next door, maybe the great reviews come after 10 pints,? The food was rancid

Is the food worth the not delivering within their declared hour and a half delivery time, and having to call them to see where it is – and then still having to wait further? Erm – nice, but no. and certainly not after three or four times. Still waiting at 20:08 after ordering at 18:27… Also have missed things off our order before and when this was raised, they weren’t bothered and we never received the full order we had paid for. Phoned a second time, and they refused to give a refund. Can’t give stars as not received any food yet – apart from the 1 star which I have to give to post this.

I’m sorry but now twice I’ve ordered the soup to have a load of jelly lumps in it and ordered special curried fried rice tonight to their be hardly any curry sauce in it but ordered something different last time and wasn’t that impressed but thought we would give it another chance since we live in the area. So we are not impressed at all with this takeaway and for the staff to be shouted at and demeaned in front of us plus young children I would not advise people to order from here as we won’t be again

I am not a liar you did shout at your staff I didn’t say it was the guy on the front it was the delivery guy’s. As for no children yes the was because our son was with us and a young girl with her dad.
And why aren’t you bothered about the fact I put that the was next to no sauce in our curried fried rice?.
The pic I put was a pic of the jelly in another bowl but I’ve taken another photo so if I can I will upload it as it’s in your tub.
As for the soup it was 2 lots of hot and sour.

Ordered a meal last night 2 nov when it arrived the only thing that was hot was the curry sauce rice was just warm chips were cold won’t be ordering there again

Ordered two meals and were totally tasteless and the prawn crackers were obviously bought in and not made. I had a far better Chinese from Longtown. The sauces were thin and watery and bland. Not like usual Chinese takeaway. Total waste of money and won’t be going back, despite being local.

We were first timers to the Golden Dragon. There was nothing ‘golden’ about the food… we ordered crispy duck. The duck was cut up and served in a plastic container, not on the bone as you would expect. When opened it smelt awful and rancid. The chopped onion, carrot and cucumber (??) was dried up and the hoisin sauce was extremely salty. The food was inedible – we had to throw the meal in the bin.. Also we could only pay in ‘cash’ which is suspicious. A zero rating from us.
