We were there for a late lunch. First impression: From the outside you don’t get any feel for quality in its strip center setting. While the interior was a little on the dark side, it wasn’t unpleasantly so.
We sampled the lunch menu and small plates song with the Rasam Chicken soup (excellent).
The Cauliflower Manchurian small plate was a larger portion them expected with crisp and tasty large pieces of cauliflower. From the lunch menu the baigan bhartha navatan korma we’re both excellent. Our server was very helpful in identifying our choices.

I feel so bad that I can’t show the meal we had, didn’t think about it until after we started eating. But everything was delicious. We had the buttery chicken, the lamb, the combo with shrimp chicken and lamb. The flat bread was a delicious *ask for extra garlic * The butter chicken was the best, we took an order to go♥️ The pistachio ice cream was a treat❄️

A true hidden gem for Indian food in Whitemarsh Township, bordering Philadelphia! We ordered the chicken tandoori, naans, and chicken biryani. The biryani was honestly one of the best I’ve had in the U.S.—so flavorful, with nice tender chicken. The chicken tandoori was slightly dry but had a wonderful smoky flavor that made up for it.
We also took some food to go, including dal makhani, artichoke malai kofta, and samosas, and everything was excellent. The samosas were warm, crispy, and absolutely delicious.
Highly recommend this place for authentic, high-quality Indian food. Happy to support this growing small business!

We are so glad that another Indian restaurant opened in Whitemarsh. The food was very very delicious. The chicken Tandoori was juicy and delicious. The Goat Apricot with curry was creamy and yummy. Definitely recommend to go try.

The food was incredibly delicious and flavorful. The meat, especially the tandoors, was incredibly soft and juicy. We tried a variety of dishes and absolutely loved them all. We’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes. The pistachio kulfi as a dessert was a delightful end to our meal.

Lassan is absolutely delicious! I am a regular customer and I love the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, mango and butter chicken, and lassi drink. It’s awesome here and best place.

It is nicely decorated inside with a pleasant dim lighting scheme.
The food was delicious and the hosts very pleasant and offered items to try. My wife and I had garlic and basil naan, pumpkin Kaatcha, Paneer Korma,
Pumpkin Korma. All the dishes are artfully presented and the flavors are amazing!

We have enjoyed takeout from Lassan since they opened and now we know how good it is to dine in! The newly renovated restaurant is cozy and the service is excellent. We had a delicious 6 course Valentine’s Day dinner. This was a special menu but their everyday menu is just as flavorful and thoughtfully prepared.
We recommend the Tikka Lassan, Boti Kebab tandoor dishes and Chili Chicken (it’s spicy)small plate.
Lassan is not just a take out Indian restaurant. Treat yourself and go sit down and enjoy the flavorful dishes and friendly service. It’s a BYOB with plenty of parking.
