This place makes a tremendous burger. The kind worth driving hundreds of miles out of your way to try. Also, the portions are large and everything is made fresh to order. We got the Peanut Butter Jelly Time Burger and it might be the best burger I’ve ever had. It was equal parts salty and savory and with a burst of sweetness from the relish and jam that tied it all together. I wish I had more bread to dip the left over juice in to finish the job. But the burger was so filling, we only ended up eating a quarter of the loaded fries which was also delicious. It took two of us three tries to finish all of it. It was a great value. The owners were also very friendly and handled our order with love and care. We hope to make it back up there sometime soon.

Some of the best burgers in the Grande Ronde Valley, hands down. Plus the servings are well worth it and amazing! The couple that owns it and works it are amazing, kind, and welcoming! Fresh ingredients that I truly love and appreciate, plus they fry their food in coconut oil, thank you thank you thank you! It was truly amazing and will be going back for more! Have down best food and quality of food in Eastern Oregon!

Other reviews are not exaggerating in the slightest. I went out of curiosity after seeing so many reviews describing the burgers as “the best they’ve ever had.” I can now say that the bourbon bison burger is the best burger I have ever had. Generous sauce, crispy bacon, soft patty. Not to mention, they went out of their way to make sure my burger was perfectly timed so when I picked it up it would be hot and fresh – and then gave me a little figure of Jesus who I’m glad will accompany me on the rest of my trip! Mom’Ma’s will now be a routine stop on my trips between Idaho and Oregon!

We were driving from the Tri-Cities to Boise and were looking for a burger joint randomly. We ran across Mom’Ma Bear’s Burgers online. The reviews were 4.9 stars, so we decided to stop. The selection of burgers was overwhelming. Dan and Mom’ma Bear Brandy were so friendly, and they greeted us like long-lost friends. We love that! They suggested their top burgers, so from that list, we ordered the Ooey-Gooey Burger, the Smokey Bear burger, and the Mom’ma’s loaded tots. Let’s say we were blown over with flavor and toppings. They shared their mission to have a full bite of toppings with each bite. They have succeeded!! The ooey-gooey was soaking in cheese and toppings. They gave us plenty of napkins, wipes, and a bib, so you’re prepared to dive in. My Smokey Bear burger was perfect! The balance of burger, tomato, lettuce, and other toppings were perfect. When you think of a loaded burger that’s satisfying, this place will deliver!!! It was a pretty busy place, too. They take online orders. But, keep in mind, when they’re up to their elbows taking orders from a long line of customers, they can’t get to the phone, so just drive up, you won’t be disappointed!! These burgers are made to order and worth the wait!! What a neat place. You know me, I LOVE keeping my reviews local! Thank you, Dan and Brandy, for such a wonderful time. We enjoyed talking to you both. When we drive through again, this will be a main stay stop for us!!! And Happy 3rd Anniversary!

There are no kinder people. Every. Single. Bite. Had every single ingredient packed in. My husbands hands are the size of Paul Bunyan’s’ and he had to search for the bottom of the burger- it was massive and its flavors were phenomenal. Dessert with fresh berries was as delicious! Go out of your way to get here we accidentally did (skipped eating in Pendleton) and are so thankful, Thank you.

This place is amazing, the food is so delicious and the staff is beyond friendly, they truly make you feel welcome when you get here. The portion sizes are also huge which is a plus. Drove over an hour to come eat here and it was definitely worth the drive. Will be coming back over a lot more

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! My husband, son and I ordered the deluxe half-pound bison burger, and it was absolutely outstanding. The patty was a true half-pound, juicy and flavorful, topped with fresh spring lettuce and served on what looked like a homemade bun. The cheese was top-notch, and everything about the burger felt high quality. I can’t recommend it highly enough! .. and the tater tots were absolutely delicious. It was an excellent surprised to find on our road trip.

Top 3 burgers I have ever had! Service from the couple running the restaurant was A+. If you’re driving through La Grande, spend the extra 2 minutes and drive past the chain restaurants and support the local folks.

Might just be the best burger I have ever had! Huge portions — we couldn’t finish! We both ordered the 1/3 pound deluxe cheese burgers and split medium fries. Fries are cooked in healthy coconut oil too! Lovely owners even gave our dogs treats! Highly recommend
