Friday night has some good specials along with salad bar. I had the all you can eat fish and my kid had shrimp. I saw some pizza that looked like a good call for next time as well. Don’t forget to stop at Lakeland for a dish of ice cream!
Update- Went for a Saturday night. Chose the grilled shrimp, they were big! My wife had a ribeye and she enjoyed it. The pizza is good too.
We choose to leave a bigger town to eat here- Had the Buffalo Crispy Chicken and broasted taters. It tasted pretty good. My wife had a Hawaiian pizza and loved it. Also have case priced beer on wheels for a deal!

The food is excellent and the staff attentive and courteous. For as busy as it was, the food came in a timely manner. The salad bar is a plus, I’d go just for the salad bar. Those dining with me both got breaded shrimp. They said it was wonderful and a generous portion. I’d highly recommend Bully’s

Always make sure you stop! Their daily buffets are great and prices are very fair. Homemade pizza and burgers are also great but ohhhh the chicken! Go early for buffets or you will have to wait, staff is always friendly slinggin cold drinks.

By far one of my favorite places to eat when I lived I ruthven. The burgers are always good and big for the price. The service is nice and there’s always specials going on every week that draw in the people. They have never disappointed me!

Updating from last year – this evening Bully’s was fairly busy. Only one person working the floor and the same person working the bar – who was doing an excellent job of getting to customers as fast as he could – but we had to wait for sometime only because he was sooo busy. Now at the end of the bar sat the owners doing NOTHING but waiting on their own take out. Did not step up and help out, just sat. I’m usually “Iowa nice” but the owners need to know they are taking their customers for granted because they are the only game in town. Get it together, help your staff when they are busy, owners, and start appreciating what you have because we will not put up with disrespect of your customers and staff forever. From 2 stars down one because of what I witnessed tonight.
The problem that Bully’s has, as a previous reviewer noted, there is no oversight with the staff. What the owner doesn’t seem to realize is the poorly trained and poorly managed staff is taking money from their pocket. On numerous occasions we tried to order more bar drinks for our group, to no avail. It would have been another $40 to $50 plus tip that the establishment lost one particular night and I am a very good tipper so the server lost out as well. The tables and bar are not bused in a timely manner. The food is good and plentiful, however it is the only restaurant/bar open in the evening in town so we continue to patronize it which is why I think the owner feels they don’t need cater to people who appreciate manners and competency from their wait staff. This is my hometown so I never want to give up on a local business, but I would advise the owner that they must serve everyone equally and hire a better manager – it will pay off in better receipts.

This is the only food and drink location even close to the lake and it’s not at all worth your time. You’ll wait over an hour for food and, have to go back up to the bar for every refill of your drinks. The wait staff will complain to you about how busy they are and how terrible other guests are, because the staff are behind the bar doing shots when they should be taking care of guests. At the same time, guests at the bar were letting themselves behind the bar and pouring their own drinks. At one point a guy was standing on the bar pouring drinks. When I asked him to make a drink for me he told me he “didnt work there anymore.” ABSOLUTE CLUSTER. CALL GORDON RAMSEY OR SOMETHING!
