Alrighty this might be a little harsh but here it goes.
I order through DoorDash most of the time and I decided to try taco John’s in burg again. This is the second time now that I’ve gotten food there that I’ve been missing the nacho cheese that’s costs extra to purchase for your oles. Also upon receiving my food it was quite cold and needed to be reheated in the microwave. I can tell that it’s not from the time the doordasher picked it up and dropped it off cause they were waiting for me food when they went to pick it up. I don’t live outside of town either so there’s no excuse other than it was sitting getting cold at the restaurant. I’ve ate at multiple locations in the past when I lived in Brookfield Wisconsin and I’ve never had an issue with their locations down in that area. However, since reedsburg has been taking up some bigger chain restaurants they seem to go under quite fast. Better training and some coaching is needed from someone other than the manager that’s there. They need to have corporate come in and do some training with everyone.

We got a new taco John’s where I live and, unfortunately, our experience was less then acceptable. We ordered a #2 with a large soda and a large potato ole’ with 2 sides of sour cream. Total bill was $14.20, which seemed a bit high, but normal when compared to prices these days. I ordered two sides of sour cream which were $1.19 each. In my opinion, if im going to pay that price for 2 little cups, they should at least be 3/4 full. Instead I received about 1 drop in one and maybe 2 in the other one. (See photos). After dropping my son off at home, I drove back across town to inform them of my issues. After getting someone to notice me at the pick up counter, I explained myself and showed her the two little cups. She looks at them and says, “I put 3 pumps in it so I don’t understand what the problem is.” I said, ” If I’m going to pay almost $3 for something so small to begin with, it could at least be full.” So with no response, she grabs only 1 of the cups and adds a little more sour cream to it, brings it back and says , “here.” I didn’t even get a simple “I’m sorry.” I have been here quite a few times in the last couple months and their customer service has made me feel like “just a number”. In my opinion, some more customer service training is definitely needed.

Honestly, its been a very meh experience every time I’ve been here. I get it’s just fast food…. but, its not fast! They made our chicken items with beef. The burritos were tiny. I paid $35 and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes for 6 small items, two of which were made incorrectly. No apology for the wait time.

Got soft tacos, drive home to share, The lettuce in the tacos was spoiled, stinky. Not edible, but not driving back.
Might return and will order no lettuce. They seem to be letting it sit too long.

Was very excited getting a taco John’s in the area! The closest one to us is an hour and a half away. The food was hot and fresh and my kids went to town on all of it! They love tacos and of course the oles! The staff was very friendly and I love that they are keeping up great customer service while they are getting there own potatoes smashed. Getting to know a whole new thing can’t be easy. Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back ❤️

Ate here for Supper. Food was Great, Hot, and Fast. Took less than 5 Min. from ordering to pull out of drive thru. Cashier was Angie. What a nice & Bubbly attitude. I will be back. Totally Awesome Experience.

Stop here again for a second time thinking maybe it was just a bad day the first time about 3 months ago but it obviously is just crap. Last time I got a loaded potato ole a beef boritto some chips and cheese along with a couple chirros and a drink all together was over 20 bucks. This time I got a 6 pack and a pound. Waited for 8min after I got to the window to pay while took 6min with 1 car in front of me. I was told to pull up because I had to wait for the oles. Got my food oles were cold and tacos were as well. Shells were stale and the meat wasn’t warm at all. Definitely won’t be back

Went twenty minutes before closing and had a large order and it was all correct and well put together! I felt bad for asking for so much at closing but the staff really cracked it out of the park. Although very robotic like still said have a good night and were polite despite being at the end of a shift. Other visits also kind and correct orders. Had napkins and forks added and on the side sauces weren’t forgotten. Please keep up the good work. Came here because we had a long day and needed fast late dinner and u delivered it well.

Super Quick and Very Hot! I finally got a chance to drive over to Reedsburg to check it out. I’ve heard mixed reviews from friends that have been here so far but I think that’s the norm with any new place opening up. I really like the design with drive thru or pickup counter only. I had a few cars ahead of me in the drive thru but they went quick, quicker or same as any other fast food drive thru I utilize – and it helps know the food is fresh and not something that was made ahead and just sitting on a warmer. I had a Cheese Quesadilla Taco since it was a big picture on the menu and I’m not familiar with Taco John’s. It came with a drink and tots. So the taco was surprisingly good! It had big chunks of chicken and it was actually really good chicken. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The amount of ‘stuff’ on the taco was a lot. I made note of that because I was trying to smush it down to eat it. The tots were so yummy. I want to know what they sprinkle on them! I got a side of nacho cheese and sour cream for the tots – they offered it and who am I to say no to nacho cheese and sour cream? I was surprised at the size of those sides, way bigger than I’ve ever seen and more than I could use – and I’m usually running out when I have sides like that. So I dipped my tots in nacho and sour cream – it was divine. Maybe next time if I’ll see if they have a hot sauce for the tots too. Yummmm. Soda was Dr Pepper and how can you go wrong with that? You can’t. Anyways, I was impressed with this place and the food was good. I expected the same as Taco Bell (which I also like) but it had its own flair and didn’t taste the same.
The staff at the window was quick and pleasant. I could see the kitchen employees too and they looked clean, efficient and you could hear the communication between them which is likely one reason it was fast and the traffic was flowing.
I’d definitely make the drive again. I hope they keep it up.
