The reviews that I read had me weary but my gut told me to try it anyway. I am so glad I did!! I can only describe this place as comfort food. Was the fish and shrimp in my soup the highest quality? No. Was the broth absolutely delicious with the perfect balance of spicy, yet smooth? YES. They could’ve thrown last week’s leftovers in that broth and I would’ve ate it up.
Like I said, not fancy by any means but that doesn’t mean that the food wasn’t great!
As far as service, the server was super sweet and our drinks stayed filled. When I checked out and they asked me how everything was, they were genuinely asking.
The place was clean inside and outside. Parking lot was little but no biggie.
Will definitely be back!

They served beans,queso, salsa and chips as it was delicious, this was the first sign that the food was going to be great. Good portions and excellent service. If we are again in San Angelo, will definitely go back.

The food is so fresh and great portions! I got the choriqueso it has so much flavor and with the salsa that comes with it, the flavor was great! The shrimp and fish soup packed so much flavor and was a huge serving. Lastly we had the shrimp and fish, the not spicy version and man was the freshness and flavor excellent! They are nice about sharing and offered extra plates and it was so family friendly! The atmosphere was so friendly and nice. There are tvs on different walls with shows for everyone. They decorate for the holidays so it feels nice and festive. I don’t feel cramped in the space so over a great experience can’t wait to come back!

I’m from the Midwest and I’ve always been frustrated by the low quality of food at Mexican restaurants around my area. I wasn’t sure if I just disliked the cuisine or hadn’t yet eaten the good stuff.
Camaron Loco showed me the light. The food was astonishingly good, with hospitable service to match. They have set the bar for quality Mexican food – I now have a golden standard of comparison as I continue to seek worthwhile restaurants once I’m back home.
