The Duchess is an authentic English Tea room serving afternoon tea, brunch and lunch in the traditional English manner. Tea parties feature porcelain tea pots, small finger sandwiches, and an elegant, royally inspired setting. Our afternoon tea is popular, so reservations are recommended! We are walk-in only for brunch and lunch, and we host private parties for up to 30 people. Our beautiful tea room is the perfect place to celebrate bridal shower, birthday party, baby shower, or even a small wedding. We also offer a catered tea and dessert bar to add a touch of whimsical elegance to any occasion! We visited for the first time today and it was a great experience! We had the high tea. They were fully booked, but kind enough to squeeze us in by giving us a table outside. I had the cream Earl Grey and the strawberry shortcake (flavored black tea) and both were excellent. The potato soup was amazing, and all of the sandwiches, scones, and desserts were also great. They swapped out some of the sandwiches for my friend with no issue (because of a dietary restriction).
I would have loved to have some lemon curd with my scone, but that wasn’t a huge issue.
Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area!

Summer Lall
This is me and my three year-old girls go to spot for the afternoon. They are so kind and welcoming and full of charm and everything is delicious. It’s a peaceful haven and a wonderful place to come to relax and connect and feel special. They even have fun dress up hats we can put on and play calming music. Great place for birthdays and celebrations too. While it may seem pricey at first glance the a la carte menu it totally reasonable and they have nice happy hour deals from 3-5pm.

It was a surprise for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely afternoon of delicious teas, sandwiches, scones, and desserts. The amount was plentiful and the tea was bottomless. The atmosphere was sweet and our server, Courtney was very welcoming and friendly. In fact, I bought my fav tea and the tea timers – so fun! Will definitely visit again

Duchess Tea Room was a tea-lightful experience! My family and I went for a Christmas Eve special event and were treated royally! While I do not drink hot tea but enjoy a glass of iced tea like the Southerner I am, my preferences were willingly accommodated. The sandwiches were scrumptious, but the desserts were some of the best I have ever had. It was a perfect way to spend Christmas Eve. When (not if) you go, ask for Sammy. She was our server and was patient and professional and just added to the overall experience. What a wonderful way to spend the morning!

Lots of bad and only a little bit of good.
The food is super low-quality, pretty pathetic. All the flavors and proportions are off. The tea selection was lousy, and not very good. Everything was extremely over-priced, and not worth even half of what each one of us paid. The tea is left in a strainer, so the lid to your teapot doesn’t fit right, and your tea gets very cold, very quickly. Truly a monumentally disappointing experience. The waitress was nice, but I knew she felt bad that we were being fleeced/taken advantage of. Also the place is shabby, and not in a good way. The inside is pieced together with iffy construction (be careful!!!) and the bathroom doorknob falls completely off. (Like, completely off—all that’s left is the hole in the door.) It is decorated cheaply, like gas station-quality fake flowers and decor. There are other and much better tea rooms in the area. Don’t come here unless you’re desperate, or you really don’t mind lousy food, decor, and unnecessarily high prices.
