This place is absolutely DELECTABLE and my biggest question is why is this place not MOBBED for brunch?!?!? First visit for my husband and me today, but we were meeting friends who have visited a lot for dinner (though this was their first time for brunch). We were seated at a cozy four-top table with nice lighting and separation from the other tables surrounding us–felt very private and intimate. All four of us chose to order the prix fixe menu, which included a brunch cocktail, appetizer (to share for two people), an entree, and a dessert (to share for two people). Please see my pictures–the two “appetizers to share” (mussels and a Pizza Di Patate) photos are missing because I forgot to snap them since we were all so excited about the food! Every dish was better than the last and the flavors were very sophisticated. There was a LOT of food (excellent value!) and I was wishing my stomach was bigger because I definitely could have kept eating! Our server Michele G was friendly and paced every course very well, plus the chef himself stopped by our table twice to see how we were faring–very sweet man and soooooo talented in the kitchen! They also have a Sunday supper (info on their website) that we’d be interested in trying sometime, plus my husband and I will 100% be back for a romantic date night dinner. Don’t hesitate to get over to this lovely, scrumptious restaurant as soon as you can!!!

We had a great time. Came in without a reservation and were seated at the bar, where service was amazing. Every little detail is paid attention to in this place. The food was perfect and the wine paired lovely with our dishes. Highly recommend for your next night out, or even a solo meal.

What a great place for breakfast. Not too busy. Well paced service, delicious food and cocktails. Breakfast pizza is crazy flavorful and aromatic. Maybe the best espresso martini I’ve had. I really enjoyed my time here.

My wife and I were really excited to try a new place that we have never been. But, let me start by saying our server was friendly and clearly trying his best, but it was obvious he was very inexperienced and didn’t know much about the menu. Unfortunately, that set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most frustrating dining experiences we’ve had in Madison.

We were seated right by the front door — every time it opened, we froze. It took forever just to get water, and when I asked for ice, it never showed up. Drinks took 20+ minutes from the bar, and the salads and appetizer they were both mediocre at best. We had to ask for bread (which ended up being the best part).

When our meals finally came, two of the four meals were barely room temperature. When the plates were reheated and brought back, I noticed they took my silverware. I requested a new set and it took what felt like 15 mins but was probably only 5 mins but we still had to ask multiple times and the food was warm…..not hot by any means, and I was done and hit the wall. By the end, we didn’t think we would have any issues with the dessert course, but of course the cannoli’s came to the table and they were stale & soft and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a really disappointing and awkward experience. With so many great dining options in Madison, I’d recommend looking elsewhere until D’Vino seriously improves both its service and kitchen execution.

The food was incredible. I enjoyed the Sicilian steak, while my husband had the lasagna and he had the calamari appetizer to start. Both entrees were excellent, and he very much enjoyed the calamari. Will say that it was very difficult to gain our servers attention, requiring my husband to get a beer from the bar, but other than her lack of attention would 100% recommend this place for fine dining. Quiet, cozy, owner was very attentive and outgoing.

What a lovely experience at their Mothers Day Brunch. We celebrated my little sister’s graduation here with friends. I am from out of town so I had never been here before but was really impressed by the service, atmosphere, food and drinks. I ordered a Bellini and another mixed drink on the menu and WOW very, very good. I had the prosciutto eggs benedict with potatoes and they did not disappoint. Cannolis and Doughnuts for dessert were also yummy. I don’t live in the area but next time I come to Madison I will absolutely come here. Would be a perfect date spot or weekend brunch with your girlfriends. The owner even came out to make sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommend.

We were truly blown away by D’Vino! We already enjoy Dinotto, their lunch-time sandwich spot, and we’re thrilled that D’Vino lived up to those expectations.

We went for our anniversary, and this was truly the best service and some of the best food we’ve had in Madison yet!

Our server was fantastic, we were regularly checked in on, and asked for our feedback on our meals. The atmosphere is wonderful, the music is on-par, and the service is genuinely commendable.

Not a single complaint— I felt everything ordered was appropriately paced. The specials are PHENOMENAL- if you have a chance to order the saffron aged mozzarella arancini or their veal, jump on it!

The anniversary sparklers were such a cute touch!! We’ll definitely be visiting again.

We found D’Vino while walking around and the patio tables with great smelling food stopped us in our search for a dinner spot. Everyone who helped us was wonderful – we were attended to by 4 people and each was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly! Andre was our waiter and we appreciated his attentive service and conversation. The food was amazing! We had a long travel day so we shared a great bottle of wine, the special clam pizza appetizer and the bolognese over paperdelle. The description of the spumoni bomb sounded so good, we had to try that too! I was a little skeptical about a clam pizza but feeling adventurous, we tried it and I’m so glad we did! Thank you to all the staff for a great meal and experience!

Warm lights dimmed real low made me feel all cozy when I stepped into D’Vino. Simple row seating, not too near the couple next to you, but still intimate seating. Specials were seasonally spectacular. We had a fig pizza for a starter. I had a most delicious pesto sauce over delicate cheese filled pasta. My friend had the chicken which was a generous portion. The seasoning took us right to the edge, then it didn’t go one millimeter further, and wow, we couldn’t stop talking about it, and experiencing it! My friend is kind of a tough to impress kinda guy, he was impressed for sure! We closed the place out, but the staff didn’t let us know it, which is always appreciated! I will return, and you should probably decide to come here ASAP!
