Phenomenal service and food! As I walked in, I was greeted by the most friendliest waitress! She was very attentive and such a joy to be around. The steak that I ordered was cooked exactly how I wanted and it was absolutely perfect! Love the relaxing atmosphere! I talked to the owner and he was just as friendly and nice. We ate here because we were staying at the motel next door. Due to one of the reviews here, we went in with some worry about what the expense might be. When we arrived, we found that the prices were extremely reasonable and appropriate for a small-town casual American food restaurant. We ordered cheeseburgers, which were generously sized, delicious, and served piping hot. With them came some of the best-cooked crinkle-cut fries I think I’ve ever had (nice and crispy on the outside, not mealy or mushy). We believe that the review stating that a few appetizers cost them $60 must have been posted for the wrong establishment. It just doesn’t make sense for a review of this place. (We found out there is a similarly-named restaurant 26 miles away, so perhaps it was a case of mistaken identity). EAT HERE! You won’t be sorry.

This place was amazing! The food was great, the service was extremely nice, and the restaurant was well cleaned and decorated. It was also my daughter’s birthday and we got free cupcakes. They were hand-made and the icing wasn’t too sweet. I really would recommend coming here!

We were traveling through Loxey and came across this diner. We decided to stop for dinner and we are so glad we did. The food was excellent but the service was amazing.
The owner Mike waited on us and is a true Southern Gentleman. Other diners in the restaurant were so friendly and striking up conversations with us. The portions were big and the owner even made my salad extra big since I didn’t order an extra side dish. It was a truly amazing atmosphere with the friendliest people you will ever meet.

GOOD REVIEW!! First of all, be aware that Google maps has this place in the wrong location. It is actually a little further south than indicated on this road. After visiting Gulf Shores, Alabama, we stopped on our way home to eat here. It was about 830 at night and you could tell the place had very little business. The reason for this was because it was past closing time! However, when we went inside the waitress and the cook both came out and welcomed us to their restaurant. Since it was about 830 at night I asked them what time they normally closed. They said that they normally close at 8 but they would be very happy to seat us (they were still open due to one other table of guests). The waitress was extremely helpful and delightful the entire time. I ordered an oyster Po-boy and the tartar sauce was simply amazing. All of us were very surprised and delighted that the food was so very good! For a place that was past closing time we were all surprised that this was the best meal of our day and possibly of our trip.
