Stopped by during the holidays to get some coffee and delicious food on my way towards Atlanta to pick up my son. (I take back roads, my car won’t survive the highway) And let me tell you, this is probably the best service and food I’ve had in quite a while! The owner is extremely kind and caring about sharing his love for talking to people and helping people understand food from another culture, if you haven’t had it before! His wife is the chef and she is incredibly a wizard back there, I swear it! I got a ground beef Arepas (Latin biscuit sandwich), tequenos (sweet bread mozzarella sticks), a ham & cheese empanadas, a fresh blueberry pastry, and a mocha cafe con leche – all equally perfect and I couldn’t stop eating everything even when I was full! Hands down a beautiful building as well on some nice land! I want to thank the owner for giving me the run down of their restaurant and just how kind he was in general. Definitely will be stopping by again on my way to bring my son home and looking forward to the deliciousness again!

Great breakfast! Can’t believe we didn’t know this place existed until today. Everyone was very kind, menu was delicious and well priced. Will definitely be going back to try some more menu items and more of the delicious pastries!
We got the iced caramel macchiato, egg and cheese arepa (with green sauce), vegetarian empanada, and the peach pastry. So yummy!

We tried their breakfast sandwich and coffee. The sandwiches were delicious, but a little over priced. It was very cold outside and they had very limited seating inside, so we had to eat our breakfast in the car. They were extremely busy when we visited on a Saturday and I don’t think the cafe was prepared with enough staff for the large influx of people. Overall, great food but I would recommend visiting on warmer days so that you can enjoy the seating outside.

This is a very cute litte coffee shop/diner. Amazing, great tasting Venezuelan food and coffee options. No decaf, they serve real coffee. They also have homemade sweet pastries from muffins, to puff pastries, and home made flan or cupcakes. Just depends on the time you go with what they’ll have. There is a nice outdoor patio with shade and coverings. They also serve snow cones for all ages and different homemade flavors. Tons of homemade items inside that you can purchase. They advertise that they cater events and personal events can be held here. We brought our family here and we love the atmosphere and location. My husband has met a lot of people here. Great place to unwind, relax, or socialize. If your local or in town traveling, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Super cute! Food smells good when you walk in— I was already salivating! I had the veggie empanadas with fresh veggies in it. Service is attentive and friendly. I already know what I am ordering next trip. Me the chef- she is so sweet! I am ordering one of her knitted garments for the winter! Will be back!

Wow! What an amazing experience! My husband and I are headed up to Blue Ridge to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we decided to stop for a light breakfast along the way. We found this delightful little coffee shop through a quick Google search, and we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We tried some delicious food that was new to us, and he took the time to walk us through the menu and recommend some great options. Everything was spot on! Plus, we had such a lovely conversation with him. It’s so refreshing to see a business owner who truly takes pride in what they do and appreciates their customers.
Honestly, the only downside is that I don’t live nearby – I would love to enjoy their coffee and baked goods every day on that beautiful patio!

Really cute café with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The person working was incredibly kind and helped me out when I had a question, which I really appreciated. I grabbed a couple of lattes to go, and the coffee was excellent — rich, smooth, and clearly made with a great espresso setup. Their menu and photos also look amazing, especially the Cuban coffee and Venezuelan dishes. I didn’t try the food this time, but I definitely want to come back.

We drove out from the Athens area just to try and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The service was delightful— Rebecca walked us through the entire menu, even giving us her own recommendations (though it’s all worth trying really). We were lucky enough to have some really nice weather and were able to enjoy our food on the back patio. But the absolute highlight was this chicken arepa (pictured)— SPECTACULAR!!! We left full and happy (and with an extra arepa to take home for later)

I love and felt very attracted to the atmosphere of the cafe. The food was amazing and very tasteful. The cherry on top must be the owners. Have never met owners who care about their costumers and love to interact with them!! Such a passionate owner and puts a smile on your face when you hear the joyful Good Morning greeting their costumers 10/10
