Casual counter-serve chain for health-minded Asian fare from made-to-order sushi rolls to salads.

I had the sushi special box. The fish was room temperature. I saw the girl at the counter put fresh salad on top of old twice while waiting on my order. The fish portions were cut irregularly. I mentioned it was my first visit and they gave me a card for 15 percent of my next visit. It won’t be used, as I wouldn’t encourage anyone the come here by giving them the card.

Presentation is good. Sushi is okay I guess, I wish we would have went to an actual resturaunt. The cashier seemed offended that I didn’t want their “salad”, another employee just wandered around chatting, and the lady rolling sushi got mad and shouted about how it was ridiculous someone didn’t hear their number called. Not bad, but next time I spend money for sushi … I’ll find somewhere that doesn’t have rotted Ginger and the employees talk about you in language you don’t understand.

It used to be a 5 star, quick, Asian restaurant. Sadly the quality of both food and service went down while their prices went up. Sushi rolls are not well made anymore.

The staff was friendly, the food was good. There was a little bit of a wait, but my one experience may not be a good representative of the normal wait as there was a guy picking up an order for a significant amount of food. I like their 1/2 roll options so you can try more of what they have to offer. I had the Tiger Roll, 1/2 of a tempura roll, and 1/2 of a salmon roll with a complementary miso. I also had a soda and all this for $25! The food and service was great for a very good price. I highly recommend! And in my one experience, also ran into a local celeb!

Man, this place really went down hill since I visited 2 years back. Food was prepared pretty sloppy, the Miso was actually watery, and the soda machine and ice was empty. My son wouldn’t even finish his steak bowl because he didn’t enjoy it. The $40 total for 3 of us was far too high for the experience we had.
Additionally, the 3 employees we saw working looked pretty miserable. We could tell they didn’t want to be there, and the food quality reflected the same.

stopped in here a few days ago to get some late lunch before i had to go into work. threw up less than an hour after eating here and all i had was a vegetable roll and edamame. they can’t roll sushi at all, it just falls right apart. customer service is terrible. i’ve heard some rumors that the kitchen is disgusting, they leave the food out for hours and that they have bugs. needless to say i will NEVER be eating here again. this place has gone downhill fast.

The workers at the counter need to learn better customer service for sure. The food prep staff seem to have it together, so the sushi has always been to my liking. The management should plan surprise visits from time to time…the front house workers should carry themselves in much more professional manners.

I have been to this location more times than I can count however, over the years I continue to watch the customer service decline. Tonight I came by and when I pulled up the sign said closed. It was 7:15 and the hours below said that this location is open until 8. I went in and there were two booths of people eating, meanwhile two women who appeared to be the sushi chefs stood around and stared at me while the cashier mopped the floor and put the chairs up. I waited for about 3 minutes while the cashier continued to mop the floor. Finally another couple came in behind me to place an order and the cashier came and took my order. I was treated as if I were a complete inconvenience. Once my order was taken I only waitedfor about 5 minutes before my order was ready. Good thing I asked for extra ginger before I left because when I got home I noticed that the sushi chef didn’t bother to put any ginger or wasabi in the box. Isn’t that standard sushi procedure? I’ve never written a bad review in my life until now, but this service was so unacceptable I decided that the owner and manager should know how their employees treat loyal customers. Many times I have ordered an oriental salad and waited around for 15 minutes before the cashier realizes that they forgot about it, I’d take that any day over the service I had this evening. I work in customer service every day, and I have never treated someone this way. I just know that if this were my business, and I were trying to make money, I would want to know that the closed sign was up 45 minutes before my business closed and that the employees were treating paying customers this way.

The customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE. From the cashier, to the cook, to the young lady that gave us our food. They all looked as if they hated their jobs. The last lady actually threw our sauces at us after we noticed they weren’t in the bag as originally asked. I shared that it was my first time at this place, wasn’t even met with a smile. Not a welcoming experience nor atmosphere at all.

I’d still call this “fast food,” but it’s tasty and isn’t a greasy hamburger. The chicken teriyaki bowls are great, and the sushi tastes reasonably good. I don’t think I’ve gotten anything here I wasn’t happy with.
The people working here are always extremely friendly, and they have a rewards card that banks 10% of your tab on every visit so you can cash it out when you decide to have a free meal.
