We enjoyed a beautiful authentic Indian meal here during our short stay in Marrakech. The staff were overly welcoming and friendly but not overbearing. There weren’t many in at the time we visited, but that didn’t matter. We chose the butter chicken and palak paneer, with rice and naan between us, and each dish was delicious – particular mention to the palak paneer which was better than anything we’ve had in the UK, but the butter chicken was equally tasty. Serving times were just right, accompanied by crisp, chilled white wine. This is a must-visit as an alternative to traditional Moroccan food and very reasonably priced for the quality of food received!

This was by far the best Indian food we have ever tasted! It was actually a nice mistake, as we were looking for another Indian restaurant in the Medina. Service was slower, but the staff was friendly and spoke English well. The atmosphere was nice and had a heavy sense of history and Indian pride. But what is most exciting about this venue is the Indian food!!! Not one dish lacked in flavor! If you grow tired of the Tagine dishes and want other options, this is one of the places to add to your food journey here in Marrakech!

Now this was an absolute pleasure to go to. A beautiful setting, staff in traditional Indian clothing with a Moroccan twist, the nicest waiter lady and the food was just out of this world. It’s hard to find an Indian restaurant in this town but this just felt like back home. The prices are high for Marrakech but then again, you’re having a beautiful view of koutoubia mosque, the city and the pool so it kind of balances it. We had reservations for rooftop seating and got chicken tikka masala with pulao rice and garlic naan and the masala tea was just amazing. Staff were so nice especially for us tourists and the pricing is similar to the UK Indian food. If I had more time I would definitely come here again. Highly recommend, and you get to go through this beautiful hotel to get to the restaurant, can’t complain really.

I took my family for my birthday dinner. Aiming for good Indian food, with strong service and ambiance.
Ambience and location, were the only things good. The food was by far the worst Indian food I’ve had and the service was so slow and bad, we waited for 45 mins playing with our forks trying to entertain 2 hungry kiddos before we walk up to the register to find out what was going on and let them know we were way ready for our main courses and that the apps ( all of 2 apps we had ordered) were long gone!!!!! The main courses were not great….palak Paneer was too salty because they used Feta!!!! And the Rogan josh had lots of veggies (veggies in Rogan josh)!!! And the butter chicken had chicken that was not tender.
My 8 year old fell asleep by the time my birthday ice cream arrived
And the final straw was that the bill was wrong…. There were items we didnt order… They didn’t even double check the bill… For a table that was visibly and vocally unhappy with their experience this far.
Even as I exit I told the manager and all he said was “you sure” and I said yes… Service and food was terrible and he said “next time”

During our honeymoon, we visited the Les Jardins de Bala restaurant several times. We were thrilled by the ambiance and the excellent service. The food is magnificent and plentiful. The service is very friendly and attentive. Hasan, our server during this time, is always smiling and up for a joke. All in all, highly recommended. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. 10/10

Honestly cannot fault this place.
We went on a whim to have something different one night on holiday (just fancied a peshwari naan really!) and were blown away.
The restaurant is in the heart of a very beautiful hotel and we were immediately whisked off to the third floor on arrival (no booking or anything) and taken to the restaurant.
The sun had just set and the view was one of the best we have seen in Marrakech.
The food was completely stunning and the service was excellent.
We had the best time, the most beautiful evening together and it was brilliant value.
Would return in a heartbeat. One of the best meals out I’ve ever had.
If you go, definitely have the chocolate pudding too!!

U go through the hotel which is amazing. Staff is nice, but they were really slow when taking the orders. It has double price than what u could get in Marrakesh. Cheese naan is really nice.

I stayed in the hotel for 10 Days and accidentally I discovered this gem in the heart of Old Marrakesh / Hotel Les Jardins De La Koutoubia .
The owner was present with warm welcoming to anyone entering the restaurant.
It was a good sign though .
I had no trouble finding my choice of desired dishes and drink .
I ordered my favorite spice vegetables masala and rice . I loved it
Wished I knew it existed where I stayed !
Thank you for service&good taste
Best of luck always

Food is very good, good quality meat, better than some UK ones I’ve been too. Lovely venue….the entrance to the restaurant is not real, the man sitting on the chair guides you to the hotel next door, takes you up 3 floors and onto the terrace restaurant. If he’s not there, just wait. It’s worth it! AMAZING FOOD! About £10-£12 per main meal.

Food is fantastic here especially after so many days of Moroccan food. Great atmosphere, but service is slow here. Staffs are friendly but slow at taking orders and serving food.
