Stopped by Mr. Le’s Chinese Food Truck and instantly felt the family vibe. The owner came out with a huge smile and handed us a family tray packed with BBQ chicken, fried chicken, orange chicken, chow mein, shrimp sticks, and spicy chicken with broccoli — everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
You can tell this family has been putting in the work for years. They’ve been serving the Fresno community since the early ‘90s, and it shows in the quality, portions, and care they put into every plate.
The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, taking time to make sure we had everything we needed and leaving us with a great impression. They also do catering, and their trays are loaded — perfect for feeding a big group without sacrificing flavor.
It’s rare to find food this good from people this genuine. Definitely one of Fresno’s local gems.

I have LOVED this place before I even realized it had a name. It was the GO TO spot at the flea market. My favorite has always been the spicy shrimp. Never soggy. Always crispy even when I’ve reheated the NEXT DAY is it still delicious. Noodles? YUM. Bacon fried rice. Yes. BACON. And not a crazy extra charge. Bbq chicken strip with some sriracha is a MUST every visit. The shrimp skewers Look I can go on and on about EVERY item because quite literally they’re ALL DELICIOUS. Find your favorite and then Mondays is the $40 family platter BUT buy 2 and it’s $60 for both!! Feeds my family of 6 PLUS leftovers we have to fight over the next day. This isn’t even touching on the fact that the owners are just the most amazing people I have met. I don’t know them personally yet every time I see her she’s sweet as if we’ve been friends forever. Her employees are happy because they also always have a great demeanor and great customer service. Helping each other out. Taking orders when the line is PACKED even in the rain. I’ll shut up now but GO. Try it. You won’t regret it.

Mr. Les Chinese Restaurant in Fresno is absolutely worth the drive! My family and I came all the way from Merced to try their food, and it did not disappoint. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor truly some of the best Chinese food we’ve had.
The customer service was just as amazing as the food. The gentleman who helped us was incredibly kind and welcoming, and since it was our first time there, he even gave my family and me some BBQ chicken to try. That small gesture meant a lot and made our experience even more special.
We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. Thank you for the great food and excellent service!

Best customer service I have had at a food truck. Their chicken leg and chow main are my favorite. 10/10. Their bbq chicken is also is bomb. You can’t forget to get a roasted Serrano pepper.

My boyfriend and I were starving after a long day. We had heard about Mr. Le’s and had seen all the hype! Well today we tried it and I must say… the noodles and rice were good. Slightly above average in comparison to other Chinese. But the orange chicken, my gosh stay away from the orange chicken. Unless you just want to eat fried breading with zero chicken inside! Highly suggest trying any other protein. If I could go back, I’d probably try the bbq chicken because at least I know I’ll have some protein with my noodles and rice. That is all.

I really do like this place’s food but they need to work on their customer service. I didn’t realize they closed at 8, so I would understand if they turned me away because they were closed but the older hispanic lady greeted us and told us what they had left. We already knew what we were going to order but she had walked away from the window and then was walking around finding random things to clean- didn’t check up on us again for the 8 minutes we were standing there waiting. I had to speak up to one of the other girls standing there near the window to even order. Overall I don’t understand why I couldn’t just order with her the first time she spoke to us when I knew my order already and why she had us wait even longer for someone else to take our order?
