I deliberated on writing a review for this restaurant on the grounds of giving away a great secret. Red’s Crab Shack has been open for about six months and set the bar high for customer service, great atmosphere and AWESOME food choices. We arrived around 2:00 PM on Valentine’s Day and were immediately seated. We ordered the Lobster and Shrimp, Shrimp Tacos with Fries, Pecan Pie and Orange cake. The food was delicious and plentiful. I definitely recommend Red’s Crab Shack for a great dining experience. Just make sure to save me a seat!

My husband and I visited Red’s Crab Shack during our one night stay in Wilmington. It was PHENOMENAL. The service was some of the best I’ve had. I got the RC 3 combo with the lobster tail and shrimp, it comes with your choice of seasoning, and also corn and potatoes. I went for the Old Bay and Butter for my seasoning, medium level heat and it was PERFECT! The owner came to our table to visit and let us know that his wife actually makes some of their hot sauces, so he brought out some for us to try and they were absolutely phenomenal! The food was cooked perfectly, the portion was great, and it had loads of flavor! We also had coconut shrimp and pot stickers (not pictured) as appetizers and they were hot and delicious. I wish we had this place in the landlocked state that we live in, but we will without a doubt be back here during future visits to Wilmington!

Wow! I’m lucky this spot opened up so close to me. It’s fantastic. Seafood Pho? Amazing. Lobster Tail and Butter Corn? Amazing. What’s more, they have a small stage and baby grand piano and guitars on hand. Amazing for me since I love music. Also, super friendly service.

Food was decent. Customer service was good but doesn’t tell you about the extra charges if you decide to split your meal. For example they’ll offer to split your pho into 2 bowls but charge you at the end without letting you know beforehand. Soft shell crab very small also.

Service was excellent. Excellent hot crispy and excellent seasoning on fried food and Pho. Food came out quickly and steaming hot. Pho has excellent portions and was very satisfying. One of the best Pho I have had. 100 percent would come back to try more of the excellent food.

Logan was wonderful. His suggestions for wine and food were perfect! As a visitor to the area I was pleasantly pleased with the ambiance of the restaurant, the service and the friendliness of the staff! I will definitely come again! The Pho was amazing and beautiful. They even gave us a slice of orange cake for dessert…for free!

We had a GREAT waiter, his name is Ryan and the customer service from him was 10/10! Very nice and respectful and made sure we understood the menu and had everything we needed. Food was a 10/10 also and didn’t take long at all to come out !! Very good portions of food at a great price. The atmosphere was very chill , clean , and up to par. The manager we spoke to was also very nice, respectful and helpful! We will be revisiting soon!

Red’s Crab Shack in Wilmington was excellent. The décor is vibrant and fun, the service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out fresh. We had raw oysters, crab cakes, and pho — all prepared really well. Great experience with zero complaints.

Definitely a very good spot to eat your favorite food Pho with beef brisket, raw or steamed oysters with calamari and lobsters and all the good food that I didnt get to try… I’ll be back for sure. Also the staff and owner Victor were very nice and kind they also let us try there secret cleanser sauce with ghost pepper and lemon grass and etc. Yep ill definitely be back. Sry for pictures i didnt realize I had it on video omg lol.
