Today was our first time dining here, and we were absolutely blown away! This charming little spot has a warm, family-run feel, and the staff was incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and full of love.
The salsa and guacamole were outstanding—bursting with flavor—and the chile relleno was one of the best we’ve ever had. But the real stars of the meal were the pastor and carnitas—hands down the best we’ve ever tasted. The tortillas are homemade and made to order, adding an extra layer of authenticity and deliciousness to every bite.
It’s rare these days to find a place that’s both family-friendly and affordable, but this gem delivers on both fronts. Truly a phenomenal experience. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Absolutely incredible food!! By far the best Mexican food I’d had in a while. Almost made me cry, it was so good. Highly recommend the Quesa Birria, and the Birria Ramen. The staff was great and super friendly. We will absolutely be back!! 🙂

The tacos were so good, I had to order another one (al pastor) after I finished my first three. The corn tortillas are made in house, which makes all the difference! Delicious food, friendly staff, super fast service. 10/10. We’re only in Castle Rock for one night and are so happy with our decision to eat at Los Altos 🙂

Great service and food was good. I had chicken enchiladas and really enjoyed them. My friends birria was okay. Ingredients seemed to be good quality and flavors authentic – def was impressed with the rice. The young man at the register was very kind and polite. Service was fast.

This is my second time coming to this establishment. All I can say is that the food here reminds me of home. The food is amazing. The Asada tacos are my favorite hands down. A have had the birria aswell and it is . Salsa’s were delicious aswell. Definitely recommend . Hope the owner can open one up in vancouver but worth the trip!

Overall it was ok, we had tacos and carne asada burrito,price range is fair. What isn’t fair is there’s more rice and beans then carne asada in the burrito which was disappointing. The tortillas either were under cooked or something was off about them that they cracked as soon as you’d lift the taco. Should have a soft bend when you eat a well heated tortilla not crack. The chicken taco flavor was ok, felt under seasoned or not enough salt. The flavor of the carne asada it self was pretty good. Not saying this restaurant is bad or anything but it feels like a hit and miss kind of place. Estaba más o menos échale más ganas y sazón.

Fantastic dinner! We were treated by the nicest staff and they gave us great recommendations for food! We have been craving authentic Mexican food for three months on our road trip from Canada and this hit the spot!! You have to check it out if you are in castle rock
