I’m warning you right now: once you have one of these mini donuts there’s no going back! Fresh, made upon order addictive morsels! I’d suggest reviewing the handmade sign next to the register for “staff recommendations” and pick from there. They’re all so fabulous. The minis are so good we went several times after a day of skiing. Strongly encourage you do the same.

These donuts are absolutely delicious. I tried 4 different toppings. And they are all delicious. They melt in your mouth. Nice service. They also make coffee with your favorite milk or tea. And they are in a great location. You can go outside while you eat them and enjoy the beautiful view.

If you are heading to Sugar Lips looking for a full meal, you are, quite literally, bananas. These are mini donuts. As advertised. Tiny, hot little sugar halos that are meant to make you happy for a few minutes, not carry you through the whole day.
The donuts we had were hot, fluffy, and cooked just right, so whatever machine drama they had in the past seems handled. Grab a small tray, pick your toppings, and have fun with it. The classic cinnamon sugar is hard to beat, but the “fancy” flavors are worth trying too. The staff was friendly and patient with us, even while juggling other guests and explaining toppings like it was a serious life decision.
Are they small? Yes. They are called mini donuts. Are they cheap? You are standing in the middle of a Colorado ski resort, so also no. You are paying for fresh, made-to-order treats in a tiny shop with a resort-level lease. The trick is to treat it like what it is, a fun splurge snack, not a budget breakfast buffet.
We grabbed our donuts, a couple of drinks, and parked ourselves by the fire globe to people-watch. That is really the magic of this place. A quick, happy stop where you get a warm snack, some sugar, and a front row seat to mountain life.

Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had. I don’t like donuts all that much and can’t remember the last time I had one. These on the other hand are a must-have and to die for! Made right in front of your eyes, they come out nice and hot to be decorated to your liking. The donut sundae is my favorite thing on the menu. Along with fresh to order mini donuts, there’s coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, frappes, and more! Perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat after a long day on the mountain. Coffee comes from local Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters too. Located next to the bumper boat pond!
