Today was my first time at Egg Harbor Evanston for breakfast, and I want to start by thanking Sam, our waitress. She was incredibly welcoming and kind and truly made us feel special.

The food was amazing! All my requests were accommodated, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I had the skillet with bacon and eggs—amazing! The waffle was perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of Nutella and banana.

Bonus points for the coffee! They bring a whole thermal carafe to the table, which is so convenient—you don’t have to wait for refills, the coffee is there whenever you need it. And the mugs are so cute, I honestly wanted to take one home!

Overall, it’s a very pleasant and lovely place to eat. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you! ☕

Loved the cinnamon pancakes with eggs! Felt like the bacons were a bit overcooked though. Coffee was also refillable, which was very nice. Enjoyed my breakfast at Evanston ☕️

Pumpkin spiced latte ☕️ yum

The chicken salad over greens was pretty good but where are the pecans?

Pancakes and oatmeal were standard.

Great service and clean environment.

The bright and spacious dining area exceeds the typical cafe experience.
The food selections are numerous. The coffee is of robust quality and not watered down. We had the Salmon Toast and the Waffle combo.
Later, we had the Turkey Club and Strawberry French Toast
Many choices of cheeses and meat/meatless sides.
All were mouthwatering delicious and presented appetizingly. The service all around was A++.
Like I said, this place is much more than the typical cafe.
It was also nice that every table has a fresh carafe of water.
We’re looking forward to returning many more times. The food was so yummy

Cecilia K was simply amazing, Roel F helped me day 2 and was quick and efficient.

Ordered the Barrington Eggs Benedict both days I came here. Hollandaise sauce was sticky and tasted off, the Canadian bacon is thin and sad. Not worth $30.

Will ALWAYS recommend Egg Harbor, regardless of which location. Spectacular experience every time. Love their food, drinks, and atmosphere. At my most recent visit we enjoyed the outdoor patio- relaxing, peaceful, and a nice time. Every time I go I get the iced brown sugar latte..SO YUM! Have tried a majority of the menu and haven’t had something I didn’t like. Cinnamon Roll pancakes are a fan fave of ours and the banana bread French toast we had for the first time was just as delicious. Give this place a try!! They also have a rewards program, so I have accumulated lots of money to go back towards a future bill. Love it!

My boyfriend and I ordered take out and I came to pick up the food. As soon I came in there was a host that asked how many people for dining and I said no I’m here to pick up food. She then told me oh there’s a door on the other side for pick ups. But you can go sit and they’ll call your name. I said thank you I walked to the area and there was another girl by the pick up service area (looked like she didn’t want to be there) and I had to approach her because all she did was stare at me almost questioning why I was at her register or something lbs and I told her I’m here to pick up my food. She proceeded to question me did you pay already? And I was confused thinking to myself why would I pick up food I didn’t pay for? But I proceeded to explain I ordered online and then she pointed to a different area and told me if I ordered any food online that it would be over there. I still said thank you because it doesn’t hurt to be polite. It was very uncomfortable and it definitely made the food taste distasteful. They need to work on there attitude. On top of it all I ordered the Aztec omelette and the chorizo was burnt in the description it says it comes with avocado and it did NOT come with avocado. Although the experience was terrible I did finish the food (there’s people that don’t have the privilege to eat and I was not gonna waste the food) and I provided pictures for guidance.

Food was mediocre, but did hit the spot. Super quick nothing really wrong with the food. Exception that the fruit (mostly the sliced strawberries) were dry. I got the Cherrywood avocado toast. It said it had goat cheese, and there was only a sprinkle. I expected a little bit more so kind of disappointed. I also wish the sourdough bread was toasted just a little bit more so that it would qualify as toast. The tea was the star of the show along with the honey!

The food is decent, though the challah French toast and red velvet can be a bit dry. The ambiance is pleasant. The servers and manager are friendly and accommodating. However, it was challenging to maneuver a baby stroller in as they only have a revolving door, not a regular one. Also, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends.

Overall the experience was good.
