Had a great experience here. The French dip was hands down one of the best my wife and I have had. The service was friendly and attentive. The calzone was very good as well. Go and check it out, be patient, like everyone else they are navigating this pandemic the best they can.

My significant other and I have never had such bad food at a sit down restaurant. I’m sorry – but the meat was just very dry, very dry and overcooked – and we got two different things and we had a bad experience with both of them. Maybe it was just the food we got (the Fried Chicken and Country Fried Steak and sides) – but we won’t be back. I hate to say that too because like I said before, the waitress was WONDERFUL and we’ve heard that the owner is a very good and nice person. But … we have to be honest about the food – and we’ve never had worse at a sit down restaurant before. It’s almost like someone who doesn’t know how to cook decided to open up a restaurant. Just doesn’t work well. I’m sad to say that if things don’t change drastically for this little joint – it probably won’t remain open for much longer. Just being observant. However, there is still some time to revamp things. You never know. Stranger things have been known to happen.
One thing they have going for them – they are in a very remote location – with little to no competition … so they remain one of the select few choices locals have – if they feel like going out – and don’t want to drive all the way down to Spokane (or up to Newport).
On a positive note – we heard someone say that their pizza is good. So maybe that’s worth a shot. We’re not gonna chance it though. Next time we’re in Chatteroy we’re just gonna keep on drivin’.

The servers are very nice and make everyone feel welcome. Some of the menu options are really good like the Italian sub, and the hamburgers. The wait really was not bad but it’s definitely a place for visiting and sitting for awhile. Overall I liked it and I would return.

Usually they have great food but went this last weekend and got a hamburger that was rancid and rotten. Found out that another patrion had a burger earlier that also tasted funny. They had returned hers and gave her another. We complained and we could hear the owner in the back kitchen complaining about us. She never came and talked to us or apologize to us. I also ordered a beer and they brought me the wrong kind, they did preplace that beer with the right kind. Horrible service and no apologies from the owner made this an awful experience. Wont be back.

The menu is just for fun, so NOT fun! Want your water or coffee refilled? NOPE! Asked how the burger was to be cooked, medium was the answer. NOPE! Chef salad is not served as it is written on the menu and you get dirt because who would think to rinse the lettuce. It was said that the menu you are given isn’t what you are going to get because it changed and it’s so expensive to have a new one printed. If you don’t serve what is on the menu that you give me, you should tell me before I order! Chewing on tinfoil would have been a better meal than we received. I think the reviews are skewed because friends are leaving them. Stay away from this place if you want a good meal. I’ve had better chow on a ship where moldy fruit was served. At least I knew what I was getting when I saw it.
