Thank you, thank you, thank you! As NJ born Italian who loves Texas but craves the authentic slice, this is it! This is the best version of Northeast Pizza I have found in Austin.

Placed an order from here last night. Overall my pepperoni pizza was pretty good. The crust was the best part. One minor complaint is that when I placed the order, I was told it would be ready in 25 mins and I’m thinking the pizza was done way sooner than that since it had cooled off a good bit. Other than that, great pizza!

There is 1 main reason why Yaghis loses at least 1 star right off the bat: Price. 2 slices of what looks to be a large pizza, and 1 can of soda – $7 plus tax. For the price of a full Little Caesars Pizza, or a. medium 2 topping at Domino’s, ….you get just 2 slices here. Is the pizza good? Sure. Is it worth the markup? Probably not. You have 2 main choices in the Bee Cave area for New York/ Jersey style: Jersey Giant, and here, and unfortunately they’re pretty evenly priced. So I couldn’t even recommend one over the other.
The staff are nice enough. The inside has bar seating. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy. Bare necessities to come in for a quick lunch bite. But let’s get back to my personal main issue, price. A plain cheese pizza, medium (14″)for 14.99, large ( 16″ )for 16.99, and extra large (18″) for 18.99. A dollar an inch. Again, slightly cheaper than Jersey, but also Jersey is slightly better (imo). But let’s be honest, it’s Bee Cave. We know the type of crowd who lives here and the type of crowd who comes better. Of course, paying almost $20 for a pie that barely feeds 2 is no big deal in these parts of town. For the rest of us, this might be a bit steep for our blood. A dinner for a family of 4 will easily run you $75 here.
Overall, the food is good. And if you’re willing to stomach (no pun intended) the high cost, it’s one of two choices that are worth it for this style, in the immediate 10 mile radius.

I ordered the gyro and a cheese slice of pizza. The pizza was very good. The gyro not so much. The meat tasted freezer burnt. Tasted stale. Also, the price really jumped up quite a bit. I don’t recommend it. I won’t order it again. I would just go for the pizza. Not sure how long they it sit out, and choices are limited. I forgot my phone to get some pictures. I didn’t see how much it was for a large pizza, but it’s good.

$23.00 for a Hawaiian with pineapple etc. large. Size. It was extremely thin. Very little pineapple. Not alot of ham. Very little pizza sauce too. An average pizza if not that. For the price etc. Poppa John’s is far better!! In every way. Seriously. I was expecting a delicious pizza etc. . Definitely won’t be going back. Sorry. Can’t recommend this place at all. Just being honest.
