so evidently, the camera did NOT eat first until dessert (which was absolutely delicious, by the way.)
we dined here for the first time and it was a lovely experience! the host informed us as soon as we entered that it would be about an hour wait for sushi, but appetizers would be out much quicker, which we were fine with. we started off with miso soup and crab tempura, which both tasted fantastic. there was a bit of a wait to order, but everyone was clearly working very hard so it wasn’t a problem.
the sushi came out about 45 minutes after we ordered. we got a tuna platter and the red dragon roll, and both were delicious! the fish was fresh, and the presentation was thoughtful and intentional.
for dessert, we ordered the matcha tiramisu and the mochi ice cream. both were SO GOOD.
the atmosphere in the restaurant is very clean and cozy! it’s a very small dining space so really not suited for extra large groups. we saw several 4 tops wait for 45 minutes to an hour before being sat, so definitely be prepared for a wait if you’re in a group larger than 2. the service overall was great— our server was very friendly and accommodating.
overall, our favorite sushi in bellingham so far! we will definitely be back.

Tonight was our first time dining here and we had such a pleasant experience! The food was AMAZING. Everything that came out was not just delicious, but delinquently presented. It is clear they work hard to give you the best dining experience possible. The menu made everything better, it had a wide range of options. There were many affordable dishes which made dinning here inclusive to all. Seating is tight so make sure you get there early!

Wow! Talk about hidden gems. This place is amazing. It genuinely felt like I walked into another country. From the plates on the tables to the busseling of the family working behind the counter the overall ambiance of the restaurant was awesome. Sashimi was flavorful and beautifully presented and the red tonkatsu ramen was spicy and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out if your in Fairhaven. I will definitely be returning.

The best meal ive had in bellingham in 20 years. The kids serving were incredibly trained. The fish quality and presentation was exceptional! Training and unusual skill oozed out of the experience. I will never eat sushi anywhere else, and i am recommending to everyone i know.

Hands down the best sushi in the area! So fresh! I usually get the nigiri and rolls, but wow the ramen is insanely delicious too! It’s super easy to order online and they’re always on time for pick up. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

So we were super excited to try this place, we drove down from lynden. A bit disappointed, service was extremely slow and portion sizes were small compared to what we usually get up in British Columbia. Fish quality was fine, bottom line will be come back, absolutely not.

Some of the best quality sushi in town. One of my friends got the fatty tuna and said it was incredible. The miso soup was perfect. Unagi bowl was huge and ultra tasty. The vibes are really good too, lovely staff and great service in a really stylish yet relaxed location.

Take out only option on 03/01/23!! Awesome! Thanks for continuing to be safe! The food is awesome! I had the Vegetable Ramen with Pork added. The extra pork was a bit pricey for the two small slices but overall the meal is filling with egg, ramen, miso, and fresh veggies!! I also had Hamachi King Sushi. The sushi is well made and good! I would order w/o green onions as it was too strong for me. I also got Edamame. It seems to be a trend to not salt Edamame like it used to be. That’s a good thing health-wise but not what I am used to having. This was our first time going and we’ll definitely return!

I would not recommend this place at all. My spider roll contained no crab. All it contained was fried batter that tasted like it was old oil. It literally had zero crab flavor and it was exceptionally crunchy and burnt. They do not offer nigiri, only rolls. Very disappointing.
