First time coming here cuz we were all craving Mexican, we were looking around Augusta, and found this place. This wasn’t what we expected, but it was better then expected! When we were seated, we were served chips and salsa (but ordered queso) as usual, but we were also served soup that we’ve never had before. But OMG IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!!!!! The main meal I ordered was a bean burrito with onions and rice, and they were pretty good (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of my food but I have it in a to go box so ill update the review soon) I almost felt like our bill was a little pricey, but I wasn’t the only person eating. There were 3 people total (family btw) and it was $20 per person, so it was around $60 (plus a tip). We will be definitely coming back for dinner again!!

Brenda was so sweet and the service and food was amazing, it was me and my boyfriends first time here visiting from Colorado, this place deserves way more business it was almost empty when we went! Don’t let that steer you away, good food, good service and nice restaurant!

This may be my new favorite Lokos Tacos location in Augusta! I thoroughly enjoyed the La Milanesa torta I ordered and the service was great. Definitely will be back and highly recommend for anyone looking for a restaurant to accommodate a large group!

We dined in. It was great that they weren’t that busy. Authentic. Food was great! Full plates. Drinks were Delicious! Our waitress was awesome! We would definitely go back and bring some friends to enjoy it next time! Fajitas (no shrimp) and tacos.

As a visitor to Augusta GA, this was my first stop, and quickly became a daily stop throughout my vacation.
The atmosphere was welcoming. Every time I ate here, I was quickly seated with order taken and food presented with a swiftness one could only dream of.
The servers sincerely cared about giving me an amazing dining experience and gave me recommendations of things to try from their large menu selection. The cooks created authentic and flavorful cuisine that kept me coming back for more. The Guacamole, Chorizo dip, Texas Rice, and Mexican street tacos are some of my favorite dishes from this restaurant and I am looking forward to trying and falling in love with even more! The combination of margaritas and music playing at the restaurant made me want to get up and dance. I look forward to being able to come back on a Saturday night and dance my heart out when they have a DJ and open dance floor. One night I met the owners and they are genuine people who had a dream of opening this restaurant and through their passion and drive, made it a reality. Their care for this restaurant is evident and contagious to the hosts, serves, and cooks. It is clear that everyone here works very hard to make this place the hidden treasure that it is!

Friendly atmosphere, good food and drinks. Mole poblano, chicken wings, quesobirria, enchiladas michaocanas, and street tacos. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Plenty of seating for parties or individuals. Local owner is friendly and works both locations and speaks to the patrons.

I’m writing this review mid meal. It’s awesome to find a place that has flavor. I love Mexican food, but locally many places flavors are bland . Well lokos tacos are awesome!!! This place food taste great new flavors great food . Ill be back tomorrow for round two! Service is great I have 2 toddlers and they brought their food out first we got them eating and perfect timing adult and teenagers food came out.

Really like their fried beans. Service was shitty unfortunately, but we did have a sizable table like 9 people, yet an empty restaurant. So with the 2 servers I figured that was enough being also one who has done F&B so I have quite a different perspective. We all sat awkwardly trying to waive down one of the servers who seemed to look in our direction just for takehome boxes of which she ignored us. It took the other waiter who seemed to be lifting the load the whole time. He might have been the actual server and that there was nothing in it for her, no idea… Just took forever to get a box to leave. In the beginning she seemed at a rush to get food orders so why not to close the ticket? Just rather annoying. Food was great though

Our family has been going to Lokos since they first opened on Washington Rd. Over a year and counting we have been regulars! We immediately fell in love with the most authentic and genuine Lupita and her family, and their staff, matching their authentic culture and food. We were so excited to hear they had expanded to Boy Scout Rd and have been going ever since! Their colorful, vibrant, and modern aesthetic along with keeping true to their original decor at their home location is unmatched. From the hand painted murals, to the fun lighting, and mariachi nights! Lokos is ready to welcome every single person that walks in! This place is a true gem here in Augusta and we couldn’t love them more!
