I bought three pies to go for my staff and was very pleased. Granted, I wish they had anchovies, but that’s just me. The slice of the Supreme I had was delicious! Big foldable New York style with abundant toppings. The crust was just how I like it. I didn’t want to eat anymore because it was meant for my team, but they sure enjoyed all of it! I’ll stop back again when we’re working in this area.

I was really excited to try PSP. I’ve heard good things and their pizza flavors are fun. I ordered a deep dish pizza tonight, and although the flavor was absolutely delicious, my crust was severely undercooked.

Puget Sound Pizza offers a mixed bag, but ultimately delivers a satisfying experience, especially for families. The service was undeniably good, though it carried an air of forced enthusiasm. It was like they’d just attended a “How to Be Enthusiastic” seminar and were trying really hard to apply it. Bless their hearts.
The Pizza Report
Now, onto the main event: the pizza. My advice? Skip the deep dish; it was merely okay. Think of it as the responsible adult of the pizza world – perfectly fine, but a bit dull. However, the regular pizza was a solid choice, and the pan pizza? Absolutely delicious. Its perfectly crispy crust and flavorful toppings made it the undeniable star of the show. It’s the Beyoncé of pizzas, if you will.
Who’s It For?
For families, this spot is a strong recommendation. The atmosphere feels well-suited for a casual, enjoyable meal with loved ones, where a little chaos is totally expected. Large groups, however, might find the space a bit restrictive, so I wouldn’t fully endorse it for bigger gatherings unless you enjoy playing human Tetris. If you’re looking for a good pizza night with your family, Puget Sound Pizza is definitely worth a visit, especially for that pan pizza. Just don’t ask the staff if they’re having fun – they might just give you a pre-programmed smile.
Update! I had something else other than their deep dish. It was fantastic and the staff was amazing so honestly you have to go if you haven’t been

This was recommended by my boyfriend for a casual date night. Delicious wings and pizza. Got the Deep Dish Bandini. Worth it!

We ordered a small cheese pizza to share and the meatball marinara pasta. The pizza was disappointing – honestly would have preferred spending more on Costco or Domino’s. The pasta entree came half garlic bread, half meatball marinara. The garlic bread had an odd tangy flavor instead of being buttery and garlicky – I actually had to add salt, which says a lot. The pasta itself was burnt, and you could taste the burnt flavor in both the tomato sauce and meatballs. Pretty disappointing overall.

Great pizza with a unique style. Very good deals on their rotating happy hour specials and takeout specials, but they change these around daily.
Very convenient for after work if you work in Lakewood and want to wait out a traffic jam.

Our server was a lady in her maybe mid 20s. Very sweet to another group of older people, answered all their questions with patience and kindness. Didn’t ever have to try to flag her down, she was just ON IT! We went the day after a Seahawks win on a Monday so beers were already $2.53 a pint along with the Seahawks win deal of a $12 two-topping pizza (mushroom and bacon was surprisingly my favorite of the two we got). A gentleman shared his jalapeno cheese knots when he found them too spicy. Not busy on a Monday at lunch and the server came by to see if we wanted to change the channel. We appreciated her!

WHAT A SURPRISE! We really enjoyed Joan the waitress here. She was one of the best I have ever had! The Happy Hour you cannot beat! It’s easy access off the highway too and was very clean. I loved the grapefruit sour and we enjoyed our wings. Try the teriyaki sauce with wings. We will be back! It’s family friendly too!

I recently visited Puget Sound Pizza in Lakewood and ordered the New French Dip Pizza, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype or the price tag.
The Food: The pizza itself was quite a letdown. Despite the “French Dip” concept, the pie was notably dry and lacked the savory punch you’d expect. The flavors were muted and underwhelming, making it a struggle to finish.
The Value: My biggest grievance is the cost. Their pricing is extremely high across the board. Even with a coupon in hand, I felt like I overpaid for what I received.
Bottom Line: Between the lack of flavor and the steep prices, the overall experience simply isn’t worth it. There are better ways to spend your dining budget in Lakewood.

Newer recipe pizza, but it feels like a good update of an old recipe instead of a shot in the dark with hope like other newer pizza places.
The staff seems professional, but busy. The atmosphere reminds me of an old alfies or shakey’s if you ever had the opportunity, though fewer kids without an arcade.
