I came in today and I had some card issues . I’m from out of town and the kindest heart , Annie , greeted me . I was having issues with my card going through she even had my food ready for me for when my card went through . After being so patient she still with held her polite and positive attitude . I couldn’t be more proud of a staff member if I was the owner of this tropical smoothie cafe . Thank you Annie and I hope to see you again . Keep your head up and keep going . Nothing will stop you !

Absolutely loved my visit to this tropical smoothie gem in downtown Kansas City! I ordered the Detox Island Green smoothie and it was amazing — super refreshing, perfectly balanced, and just what I needed. You can really taste the fresh ingredients, and it left me feeling energized without being too sweet. The shop itself had a vibrant, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and quick. Definitely a go-to spot for a healthy treat. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

My boyfriend and I went to this place at 2 pm on a weekday to try it out after its opening. The workers there were disorganized and seemed to not want to be working there at all. The person manning cashier was especially rude when taking our order. First off, she had her back to us whilst handling another order and just kind of loudly spoke at us from the blender area like she didn’t want to actually take our order. When she did get up to the register, she acted pretty passive-aggressive and impatient, sort of rushing us through the order and getting frustrated when we didn’t know what type of chips we wanted/what was available and what type of add ons we wanted for the drink. This type of behavior definitely wouldn’t be appreciated by a first-time customer.
After waiting over 20 minutes for the order, we went up to the counter to follow up and was met by other workers who seemed like they didn’t know which order was which and didn’t want to even inquire on why we were there.

Geese absolutely the worst girls they have working there, Don’t believe me? Go see for your self too busy having fun than even thinking about doing there job! Bathroom no soap, Roll of paper towels on the sink half wet! It will close up if they don’t do something!

Long time fan of TSC! My go to is the Avocadala add Whey Protein+Low-fat yogurt. After taxes it comes to 11 and change. I’m so thankful there is a Tropical Smoothie Cafe close to home. Been waiting 5 years for this and I’m so happy. Love you lots!

I like that they have healthier food for a good price, and the smoothies are great. My favorite bowl is the acai bowl with Nutella. For a smoothie, I really like the chia banana boost with whey protein and an energizer to wake me up in the morning. The buffalo chicken wrap and the caesar chicken wraps are good lunch options with the jalapeño corn side.
