Mix of marrocan and indian buffet. Price per person was 28€ decent for the quality of food. I recommend this place for its variety of options.

Visited as part of the San Antonio resident allowance. It’s a self-serve buffet with a mix of Indian and Tagine dishes. The interior decor was nice, but we got seated right at the entrance, which felt dull – plus some light bulbs were out and hadn’t been fixed .

Good variety of starters, including papadam, which was a nice touch. The curries were pretty far from authentic though – the chicken madras was just spicy from ground green chili, not much depth ️. Tagine meats were cooked well and tender . Naans were basic, off-the-shelf style – not freshly made.

Desserts were mostly cakes, nothing really tied to Indian cuisine . Staff didn’t interact much but were quick to clear tables. Overall, okay for the allowance deal, but wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.

Had an amazing meal here, the flavours are outstanding and the photos do not do the food any justice. Everything was perfectly cooked and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We will be visiting again next week before we fly back home! The meal was included in our holiday package, but I believe it’s €35 per person, which is pretty good for an all you can eat and all you can drink buffet! The carrot cake was next level, it was the best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Compliments to the chef, Meryam.

I just love the atmosphere and the food was excellent! I appreciate the Chef who kindly approached me while checking their menu and showed me the dishes that are less spicy. The servers are polite and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It is okay if the meal is included as part of the stay like half board or all inclusive. Not worth for the price of a buffet. No grill starters, only fried starters like samosas. On the plus side, the quinoa salad was excellent. There is also a wide spread of curry choices.

The Tagine is an excellent restaurant which I can only recommend. I was here for a Plus Point on my booking but I tell you even if I paid full price, it would’ve been worth it. The introduction to the restaurant was quick and friendly. The food was heavenly. From Moroccan Tagines to Indian Tikka Masala and Moroccan Tea time, everything is good here! The beef vindallou kicks ass! I had to give props to the cook! And the Naan had surprisingly much flavour. And let me tell you this hummus and Moroccan sweets with peppermint tea…I won’t believe that there is something better out there!
The service was quick to adapt and friendly if asked for stuff.
I hope others will visit this awesome restaurant!

Terrible indian food no real starters no spicy onions but nice naan, chicken tika was a sauce then cooked chicken added no tikka marinated, lamb roganjosh was tough and tasteless. Very poor no real indian starters. Soup or soup??? Also no real morrocian food, such a shame as it could have been so much more with a bit of research .

Had two meals over Christmas and New Year here.

Wow the food was amazing and very tasty, variety was good and staff very friendly.

All inclusive or €23 is a bargain.

Definitely worth a visit

Great atmosfera and very polite personnel. For 23€ you can sit there and eat and drink for whole night unlimited. Only thing that I would recommend for them to change is quality of drinks because things such as cola or sprite are undrinkable. On every other aspect the restaurant is perfect for spending a night. Just be careful on quantity of food that you will eat.

Tagine Restaurant, located within the DB San Antonio hotel (Malta), offers a delightful buffet and all-you-can-eat dining experience. The restaurant boasts a diverse selection of dishes from India and Morocco, catering to a wide range of palates. The enticing aroma of the food fills the air, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant’s tasteful design and background music further enhance the dining experience, making it a delightful place to spend time with friends and family.

The culinary offerings at Tagine Restaurant are sure to please all diners, with options ranging from mildly spiced to fiery hot dishes. The variety of flavors and spices ensure that there is something for everyone, accommodating different tastes and preferences. Notably, the delectable soaps served here add a unique touch to the overall dining experience, elevating it to a memorable affair.

The restaurant’s staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Their helpful and accommodating nature adds to the overall positive experience, making diners feel well taken care of and valued. While the beverage options may be limited due to being part of the hotel, the enjoyable dining experience and the sumptuous array of dishes more than compensate for this minor drawback.
