I haven’t been in this location in probably over 5 years and this morning as I was driving through Hinsdale I decided to stop in and grab a bagel.
The girls behind the counter we’re great and my breakfast bagel sandwich was phenomenal!! She recommended a delicious option.
Will definitely be back much more in the New year!!

So sorry to report, NOTHING has changed unfortunately since my last visit and review in February 2024, regarding customer service, rather it seems to have gotten worse. I still wish there was another Einstein close by, love the brand but absolutely dislike the customer service at this Hinsdale store. I am so surprised that Einstein brand is ok with the negative reviews this particular store gets often enough, and I know for sure “why”.
Christina “The manager” needs training on customer service and basic etiquette. It flows from the top and unfortunately NOTHING will change for the better unless Christina is provided better training. In my experience the manager sets the tone and I am sure some who are her “attack the customer” folks will fall in line. All I wanted was my 6 bagels sliced and when I pointed out that one of the bagel was butchered during slicing, all “hell” broke loose. I did not get up this morning to be rude to Einstein employees, I promise you that was NOT my agenda when I decided to get great bagels from the store for my family! I checked the order before leaving the store as I know this store MESSES up your order quite often. Einstein folks accused me of being rude and one of them told me to take my bagels and leave the store. I spent $30 on bagels and asked that the last bagel be sliced properly just like they had sliced the other 5 bagels and I got booted out the store when I raised my voice because of their back and forth with me. I still do not believe what just happened.
I sincerely hope that Christina would go through more Einstein customer service trying and keep her “attack the customer” folks in check.
Love the brand, hate this Hinsdale Einstein store. Please do something to make this store inviting and friendly!!!!

I sincerely wish there was another Einstein Bros nearby. Love the brand and food, however service at this particular place is let’s say non-existent. I saw some other reviews about service, at least I am not the only feeling this way.
Eventually, it hurts the Einstein brand and hope some management individual would pay attention.

I come here at least three times a week I will now go out of my way to go to the Glen Ellen location the staff here is so rude no customer service skills at all especially the girl with long hair she is mean I hope she finds a better attitude

When I decided to write a review, I didn’t think that I would see comments about what I wanted to share. Just as everyone else, the person who takes the order is not friendly (I said good morning like 2 times and there was no reply.)
The cashier is nicer, i thought the food was good but the attitude change my experience. If I ever decide to give it another chance, it will be a Mobil order.

Their bagels were so delicious and they put a good amount of cream cheese! The service was really nice, and pickup was easy. I can’t believe I never ordered from this place before. New favorite!

I have been going to Einstein’s for many years and it has changed for the worst over time. Everytime I order one bagel sandwich with a coffee, I have to repeat my order multiple times, and it is clear to me the staff does not care. Prices have gone up and you can’t sit anymore in the place. Parking is always a challenge in downtown Hinsdale. Its just not worth the aggravation anymore, I will not be going back.

I have been at this location twice and I get a negative vibe as soon as I walk in the door. Employees seem unhappy to be there and the cashier was talking to someone on her phone while ringing me up. When she picked my bagel order she messed that up and I didn’t find out until I got home.
