This is one of my first stops anytime I come to Telluride. Once you have visited you will understand why. This small but inviting establishment offers more than you can imagine. Looking for a wine to sip? A wonderful cocktail? A small bite to eat? Charcuterie to share? Great service and knowledgeable staff offers it all. Oullie and Dustin have created a great environment to relax in after a long day in town or on mountain. If in Mountain Village, this is a most stop spot for anyone looking for a great place to unwind!

Neat wine bar in Mountain Village. We barely were able to swing by based on when we were in town/their operating hours, but the pours we tried were nice and the atmosphere inside relaxing.

Communion is pretty amazing. Chef Dustin is extremely creative and is always willing to share his insights and local flavor. Seriously, the food is so refreshing and unique and delicious. We went for both the Mexican menu and mushroom inspired menu and were blown away. The staff are also incredible. Ooly provides awesome service to all their guests. A must do.

We had a wonderful evening here splitting a tasty bottle of red and chatting it up with our server, Heather. She was a sweetheart and the wine was great. They also made room for our stroller so our baby could sit with us, which was appreciated. No complaints except we only wish they’d stay open later!

I recently had my first visit to Communion and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere of Communion is bright, modern, sophisticated, and welcoming. The decor includes majestic gemstones and pictures of sweeping mountain scenes. The list of wines as well as appetizers is varied and balanced. I had some decadent squid paired with a crisp Pinot Grigio; it was the perfect pairing for a hot summer evening. This hidden gem wine bar is a new addition to my neighborhood, but I anticipate that it will become a place where I am a regular!

We went to Sunday dinner and it was an amazing 5 course meal with some of the best food I have ever ate. I am still dreaming of the octopus. It was paired perfectly with a tasting of wines. We had the best time!
