This place knows how to get it right. Catfish fried to perfection. Coleslaw is delicious. Fresh cut fries. Yes ma’am. Their portions are generous and they always put in a little container of hot sauce. It’s like being at your best friend’s house for dinner.

The Sand Pit is the hidden Gem in Massillon. My dad plays on their pool team. We went last night to have a few drinks and play some pool. They have a separate area for the pool table so you can enjoy yourself. Pops and Tiana were fabulous, never let you run out of something to drink.
The food is fantastic as well. Don’t hesitate to stop by for a cold one and some good grub!!!

The food here is amazing! We got the sweet chili dings, hot dings, garlic parmesan dings, mac and cheese, fried okra, and collard greens, and we loved it all! The bar staff is super sweet and fun and loved Pop’s dance moves!

The jazz ensemble was great. Shout out to Elec Simon the most talented drummer and Preston a smooth vocalist. Would like to see some male bartenders so the women get the same service as the men. Didn’t try the food.

I love the sand pit it’s my dad spot we went out together one night and he took me to the sandpit the food was great it was a it was hot I had to BBQ wings 10 order of wings and fried okra it was very good my food was still hot just like I like it and I had a Long Island iced tea which was very good too as well and the people were great I even met the owner Miss Starla and last but not least they had the most beautiful women that you ever did see walk through the door I will never forget about how much fun I had I will be back most definitely thank you Dad for showing me a great time at the sand pit
