What can I say? Wonderful dinner! After finishing the fish tartare, I was still there searching for more on my empty plate! Everything was perfect, from appetizer to dessert! Authentic Italian food, revisited with a modern twist. Warm atmosphere, the owners and all the staff were very attentive to all the customers! I felt at home. I will definitely be back, this time to try the pizza, which certainly won’t disappoint!

Had the most amazing experience last night at Made in Casa. I’ve been looking for an Italian restaurant that reminded me of my travels In Italy. Eaten at many of the top Italian restaurants in Melbourne. But Made in Casa had love in their food. Just like the family run restaurants in italy. They have passion. The food was outstanding. It was fine dining but done with love.
Not many places do Gnocco Fritto , and theirs reminded me of the ones I ate in Modena. Their homemade pasta is like you’re eating in bologna. Then came the bistecca fritta … it was the star of the show. It’s a must try !
We had small hiccup with our booking but then Valerio came & sorted everything & we had the most amazing table & he looked after us most of the night. Then Nicola took over & she was a superstar with service .An asset to the team. We stayed for 3 hours and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’ve finally found my new Italian restaurant when I’m missing italy. Well done Valerio , Anna Paola & the team ! You’ll be seeing me again….. and with more friends

Delicious food. Pizzas were wood fired and so flavourful. Got soggy towards the end since there was so much sauce. One of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had.
Only reason this place doesn’t get more stars is because of the service. Waiter was impatient, rushed and was judgemental.
First time we came here, we were asked to move tables to let someone else have our table, and were told they would give us complimentary dessert. When we got the bill, we ended up paying for the dessert..

Beautiful restaurant with excellent dishes — each one unique and full of flavour. The service was impeccable, and the owners were warm and welcoming. Every detail was carefully thought out, creating a truly special experience. Definitely a place where you can taste that everything is made in casa!

I had a lovely experience in this charming restaurant. From the entrance to farewell the owner and staff were friendly and helpful. I truly felt welcome and was shown to a lovely seat. My guest wanted to change tables to a quieter spot which was accommodated. The food was excellent. Coffee and biscuits were a highlight, as was the seafood spaghetti. Would definitely recommend!!

Made in Casa is located on Glenferrie road, it was quite highly rated so I was quite excited. Unfortunately we may have came too early as we were put in an empty room. The atmosphere was very nice, although some of the food may have been either under or over cooked. The pasta was undercooked and the kingfish overcooked. The pizza was exceptional as well as the prosciutto starter. The service was very nice, and if the food is developed further I would come back.

Thank you so much for a truly lovely dinner on Friday the 5th of December. My husband, parents and myself were very happy. The young man who served us was charming and professional. All of our courses were absolutely delicious as were the wines and digestives. Thank you for a splendid dinner and evening. I hope your merchant terminal was up and working after we departed and that all your guests were patient and understanding of the difficulties you were unexpectedly dealing with.
