Last time I had DOTs chicken, they were in the food truck by by college and Maple.

Still has a great quality of the fried Chicken, and now they have a great selection of beer! Everything was homemade, from the bread they provided, to the dipping sauces. And the ranch was so good! Had a nice thick texture which paired well with the crispy chicken!

The environment was very clean. The cashier was very nice. Looks like they have a drive-thru.

Only critique I would say is maybe get a TV, could bring in more people during the sports games.

But anyways I love the food here and I look forward to the next time I have the chicken.

I haven’t been able to stay away from the toilet..chicken was way too greasy over sauced/ seasoned. The whole thing was just overkill by a LONG SHOT. Wouldn’t recommend at all I basically spend most of the time scraping all the breading off along with the sauce. I got the 5 piece tender and chicken sandwich. I couldn’t finish the sandwich alone it was bad. Which sucks because it smelt great and I really had high hopes.

As for me and my palette, it’s hard to imagine chicken could possibly taste any better. Got the extra-hot Dot’s sandwich and shared an order of potatoes with my wife. The taters would make Samwise Gamgee hike the distance from the Shire to Mordor multiple times – they’re that good. Oh and the happy hour deals are legit as well. Fayetteville is lucky to have this restaurant. We had very friendly and professional service as well.

I read a review about this place and said it was the best chicken in town, so I had to try it.. My wife and I each got a chicken sandwich one mild one hot and a side of the potatoes.

The buns, breading and pickles were very good!! But the chicken kinda was bland .. wasn’t dry or anything pretty good.

The potatoes were probably the best potatoes I’ve ever had…

We tried the ranch and spicy chicken sauce??? My wife and I weren’t big fans of the sauces.

The sandwiches were roughly $8.00 each and the potatoes were about $4 so all in all we spent about $20 for the 3 items.

The store itself was very clean and the service was great!! I’d say it’s worth a try!!

I heard about this place from a Co-worker, that noticed a new “Fried Chicken” place opened in town. This isn’t one of those restaurants. It’s a play on Dave’s Hot chicken, if you’ve ever had it.

I tried the “DOT’S SANDWICH” with the spice level as hot, currently priced at $11, with tax and a tip, it was around $14, JUST for the sandwich.

I ordered the sandwich with the slaw on the side and honey mustard as the dipping sauce.

The 3 chicken strips were decent. The breading was actually great. However, the chicken itself lacked in flavor, for me.

The Honey Mustard is probably “homemade” which is great, except, I assume it was rosemary and basil in the sauce, was a little overwhelming for my palate. And I was not a fan of the Cole slaw.

Overall, very friendly service, priced for the area, and I would just say give it a try.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately was pretty disappointed. I ordered the large portion of tenders with “true believer” spice level. The chicken was dry, bland & unbalanced. The heat level was on par with what I expected, but the breading was unremarkable & simply tasted spicy versus having any nuanced flavor (no acid or salt). The best bites were when adding the ranch & pickles, but even those bites were just ok. If you’re branded as a chicken spot, your chicken should be able to stand on its own. This certainly didn’t.

On the positive side, I was very happy with the portion size for the price. I did pick up & the staff & atmosphere were wonderful. It has the elements to be a great spot, but the food was severely lacking for me. I hope I got them on a bad day, but I won’t be back.

I got the plain sandwich – True Believer spice level – and the blue cheese potato salad. Both were great! The chicken was very tender and juicy. I do wish now that I had ordered the Dot’s sandwich instead. I think the coleslaw would have helped balance out the heat from the spicy tenders.

I was told by a friend that this place had some legit hot chicken after i failed to find anything remotely hot in fayetteville. (Not even thai places could burn the buds).

I have a super high tolerance for heat and decided to go with the chicken sandwich “true believer hot style” and was not disappointed. Had the sniffles in seconds and it just tasted so damn good, sometimes a business will make it too hot you can’t taste anymore or too low heat that there wasnt a point in getting it, happy to say my dot sandwhich had an almost perfect harmony of flavors with the high heat. Will be coming back on the regular.

This is a great spot, a staple Fayetteville food truck turned brick and mortar. The staff is always friendly, the music is good, the chicken is amazing. In every conversation I’ve had with the owner you can see how much he genuinely cares about the product he is serving. Sandwiches and salads are great, I’m a classic hot chicken strip guy. Don’t skip the fried potatoes!

We go to Dot’s as often as we can but even then we must have missed that they’ve got a new menu now! We both usually get the Plain Chicken Sandwich, spice Hot + tenders + pickles + brioche bun, but the new menu has a Chicken Caesar Sandwich! We got our usual spice level of Hot but with the dressing and parm cheese we both agreed we could’ve gone up a spice level! I appreciate that the chicken has never been overly greasy and always fresh! The dine-in as usual is nice atmosphere and the service was great.
