Our wedding was in June 2025, and the cakes and cupcakes were absolutely amazing!
We did the cake-tasting box, which was so fun, and picked a lemon cake with cream cheese icing and a raspberry drizzle. We had a variety of cupcakes, including chocolate, cookie dough, and lemon. We opted to have the bite-sized cupcakes and the traditional-sized cupcakes. Once the night was over, we had 8 cupcakes left due to everyone enjoying them so much. We had just enough cake left to keep the top tier for our first anniversary and have a couple pieces each a couple days after the wedding.
To this day, we keep getting asked who baked the cake and cupcakes.
This company is absolutely amazing, and we will for sure be stopping here every chance we get.
We are incredibly thrilled that we chose them to make our desserts for our wedding day.

First time in, and the cashier was so helpful in assisting which items to try. Everything looked so delicious Tried the peach cobbler cookies, German chocolate cupcakes and wedding cake cupcakes, and a slice of pineapple upsidedown cake….. All were the bomb… Definitely will be coming back to Waxahachie for desserts now!!

Stopped by about 30 minutes before they closed the evening before Thanksgiving. I know everyone had such a long day with the holiday but I still received exceptionally excellent service, the gals were all very friendly and smiled through the whole conversation. I asked the sweet lady behind the counter what her favorite in the case was and she recommended the cholocate Nutella cupcake. Y’ALL. It was THE BEST chocolate cupcake I have EVER had. I make my own from scratch all the time because I’m so picky with chocolate cakes and cupcakes. I like the chocolate flavor to punch you in the face, the buttercream to be light and fluffy, and for the cake to be moister than an oyster. They absolutely nailed that chocolate cupcake in every single way! Literally I think if my eyes could have rolled back in my head any further in the first bite I would have seen my brain. It was everything I had wished and dreamed it would be. Divine, just perfectly divine. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the other delicacies, and that chocolate nutella one will definitely be on my list. Chocolate lovers, if you’re jonesing for a fix, this is your place! 11/10! Will absolutely be back over and over again!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the wedding cake Bittersweet executed for us! We went a non traditional route by serving each table with their own self serve cake, and 2 months later we are still getting compliments on the taste and how beautiful they were! We even kept a slice in our freezer to enjoy on our one year anniversary Plus, we always look forward to visiting the bakery for all of their exclusive releases and weekly case!

My boyfriend surprised me with a cake from this bakery and just thought I’d share my/his experience my boyfriend lives out of state at the moment and ordering a cake seemed to be difficult since it would all have to be done through email. This bakery was the ONLY one that responded in our entire area. Not only was their customer service great but the cake was absolutely beautiful! The cake itself was very soft and buttery which I loved! Thank you for making this birthday even more special<3

Nice bakery! Had cookie & 2 cupcakes. Cookie was great- the cupcakes were good. Great variety- friendly staff. Cool location- kind of small. But if you want a nice treat- definitely give them a try! Sidenote: they make whole cakes for special occasions.

I always do my best to support small businesses, since I have several businesses myself and understand the importance. Not only was the cake phenomenal, their cookies, cupcakes and brownies were too! I showed up 30 minutes early to pick up my order and I was greeted with friendly customer service. nothing bundt cakes and Tiff Treats are so 2014. I highly recommend you check out Bittersweet Bakery. Their website is also super user friendly.

They more known for their cupcakes. Lemon raspberry was delicious. Chocolate chip was thick and the brownie with the cream was rich and fluffy. All made in house. Come support your local baker
