I visited in a group of 3 people. We had a nice meal, and having been here many times, the food on tgis occasion was the best I’ve experienced it here.
I had the chicken Madras which was well spiced and not at all oily like you find at some places. The rice is nice, and naans etc are all as you would expect. For 3 people each having poppadoms, curry, rice naan and a side to share, with a few beers each, the price was £120, so £40 per head which is very reasonable for a nice atmosphere and decent food.
Service was friendly, and prompt although on a Saturday night as you’d expect it is busy and can slightly slower, but not an issue at all.
The restaurant is quite busy with people coming in to dine and collect takeways.
Good choice of drinks available.
There is a lot of parking available in the evenings as this place forms part of a row of shops which are mostly closed by the time you would dine so the while car park is free.

First sitting down Indian meal for best part of three years.Jaipur is just around the corner to us so thought we’d give it a try for my son & his family as a birthday treat. Really great result – food was delicious – service was second to none and the cost didn’t break the bank. So I think we will be back again.

We had a big family gathering at Jaipur and I must say, everything was wonderful. The food was lovely and all the workers were very hospitable. We made a long journey from Gloucester and thankfully it was all worthwhile. Highly recommended

What an absolute gem of a restaurant and don’t let the looks put you off as it’s nowhere near as posh or fancy as a lot of Indian restaurants I’ve visited but it’s definitely one of the most tasty I’ve ever been to!

I had the chicken tikka Salli with special rice and my work mate had the chicken tikka Methi with keema rice and they were both amazing, so tasty …. and so were all our sides of Naga Aloo, Mushroom bhaji, Cauliflower bhaji and a chilli garlic naan.

Both waiters were polite and friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean.

Without doubt I’ll definitely return next time I’m working in the area

Placed a large takeaway order for 11 persons for a celebration. Order placed the day before to assist the restaurant. The order was ready for collection at the requested time. The various dishes were all absolutely delicious. Complete with starters, poppadoms and nan breads. Perfect. Thankyou. .

Ordered food for take out, super busy night but the food was awesome. Arrived piping hot. Only complaint was the delay on delivery and calls not picked up when trying to follow up on time frames, to be fair to the team likely a reflection of a mad busy night. Thanks for a nice meal.

I visited Jaipur for the first time for dinner this evening with a friend. It was early evening (6pm booking) so there wasn’t many diners at that time.
The restaurant itself is a good size, well decorated and furnished with ample tables.
We received a warm welcome from the waiting staff and we were given a choice of which table to sit at. Not long after we sat, our drinks order was taken, shortly followed by our food order.
The menus were well presented and there is a variety of dishes to choose from, from Indian classics, through to chefs specials.
I ordered Tandoori Chicken, plain rice and chana masala.
When the food was brought to the table, it was piping hot, and clearly freshly cooked. The chicken was superb, well, it all was – all very reasonably priced too.
We did not feel rushed in the restaurant. People came to collect their take away orders and more people arrived to dine in as we were finishing our meal.
There is ample free parking just outside the restaurant, so you should not have trouble finding a spot if you choose to visit this little gem.
This will not be my last visit here and I’m looking forward to the next time.
Keep up the good work!

Great food but really unwelcoming The owner could have been having a bad day which can happen but when your business is dependent on repeat custom you need to make everyone feel special.

Update in Sept 2024: After a 3rd visit, I have reduced my 5 star ratings to 3 stars for food and overall. The main reason is a decline in the taste of the food. The chicken dhansak was borderline OK. The meat samosas were small and almost certainly bought in frozen, pre made. The keema naan was good.

Previously from visits in 2022 and 2023, I gave 5 stars on each of food, service and atmosphere. Food was excellent with very nice flavours. Service is very good. Atmosphere, even midweek on a Wednesday, was great because the place was almost full.
