The owner is a super cool guy I got to meet him during one of my visits to this place. The pizza is great amazing flavor. The sauce has great flavor. The garlic knots are crispy on the outsized and soft on the inside. I bought a whole pie here for my coworkers and I. They have gone here for lunch now as well.

After living in San Diego for 10 years, I finally found the pizza I’ve been searching for — and I couldn’t be happier!

This place makes pizza with tuna, green olives, and eggplant, just like back home. The moment I took my first bite, it brought me straight back to my country and all the memories I grew up with. The flavors are amazing, the dough is perfect, and the ingredients are fresh and generous.

The service is also excellent — friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family.

I’ve been waiting years to find a place like this, and now that I did, I’m definitely coming back again and again. Highly recommended!

This is a small pizzeria that offers various Italian dishes – pizza, calzone, pasta, etc. We ordered a Brooklyn Bridge pizza (meatball, sausage and pepperoni), garlic bread and garlic cheese bread. The garlic bread was a bit salty but got a good flavor. The pizza was thin crust, just the way I liked it. The staff was very friendly. The order took a bit longer because the pizza was made fresh upon ordering. I would go back to try Margarita pizza and garlic knots next time.

3 stars for this Brooklyn pizzeria. The pizza itself is solid—good flavor and definitely satisfying, though it doesn’t quite hit that classic NYC style I was hoping for. Still, not a bad slice by any means.

The garlic knots were where things went downhill for me—more on the hard, crispy side than soft and pillowy, which made them forgettable. Overall, it’s fine if you’re nearby and hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

This place has great pizza! We stopped there during our trip to various cities in California and was not impressed with any of the pizza I ate until finding this gem. Joseph creates pies as good as the ones I love from all over CT and NYC, and the garlic knots are amazing too! He shows passion for his craft and aims to please. If you’re in the area and looking for great pizza, A Brooklyn Pizzeria has to be your destination!

Tiny authentic NY Pizza and more! Huge slices, bigger than any other place for sure. They had Pep Jalapeno with a bit of Ricotta WHAT I’ve never had that and it’s instantly my favorite.

4.25 a slice or two slices and a drink for $10. What a deal! I also got the torpedo sub sando and it was great.

The only issue which is minor is it has max capacity of 11 yes that’s 10 plus one. For me that’s not an issue at all just an FYI.

Love love the crust, the under carriage was perfect and the toppings were phenomenal.

5/5 will put in regular rotation!

When we came in, the guy behind the counter immediately offered us a free garlic knot. After that we ordered and the pizza’s came pretty fast. The guy even offered to arrange the tables in a way so we can sit together which was very nice. The pizza itself was really delicious. The prices itself were somewhat high.

Discovered this place through the app Too Good To Go and was pleasantly surprised.

We got 6 slices of a variety of pizza, including cheese, pepperoni, white pizza, pepperoni pineapple and jalapeño, pepperoni and ricotta, and a couple more, as well as garlic knots.

We LOVED the garlic knots! I would definitely recommend those. The pizza was very tasty, and I even enjoyed the ricotta on the pizza despite not being a ricotta fan. My only complaint was that the crust got a bit difficult to eat once it was cold. Other than that, I’d love to give this place another try to see what else they have to offer!

Be mindful, it is a small place with not a lot of seating, so would not recommend dine-in for large parties. It’s also good for grab and go slices of pizza.

Simply put, best pizza in San Diego. I’m from the east coast and in my opinion it’s hard to get good pizza out here. A Brooklyn pizzeria provides quality, not too much cheese but also not too little, delicious sauce, perfectly cooked on the bottom, crispy not floppy. If that describes a good pizza for you, this is the place to be. And the staff are always super friendly and kind.
