Amazing experience at Kaizen Sushi and Ramen!
We tried the Ocean Roll, recommended by Sir Jay, and it was super fresh and packed with flavor. We also had the Tonkatsu Ramen, both the regular and spicy versions, and they were rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious.
For appetizers, we had the Takoyaki, perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, along with the Mango salad, which was fresh and a new flavor experience for us. We love it! We also ordered the tonkatsu with rice and fried chicken, and both were so good.
What really felt like home was the warm reception and friendly conversations with the owners.
Every bite was a hit! Great vibes, friendly service, and food that truly stands out. ✨

Lovely group dinner at Kaizen: staff was very friendly and helpful, and food came quickly and was incredible. Across the group had a couple of sushi rolls (rice was fresh, wasabi was incredible), and a couple varieties of ramen. Left feeling very full and well taken care of, highly recommend for ramen!!

Great family spot for delicious sushi. Very clean, friendly service. I definitely recommend the deluxe maki roll combo. It was perfect for two along with our miso soup and some pork dumplings. It was our first visit but not our last. The tempura for the sushi rolls was made fresh and boy did our rolls crunch! It’s this little detail that made it so much more special, tasty.

To be honest, we were really disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, staff were nice and accommodating but the food was just sad. We ordered over $100 for worth of filipino food and did not like any 🙁 crispy pata was just okay. The pancit bihon was soggy and overcooked. The bulalo was not good too. Barely any edible meat, and there was even beef fat. (The one you usually take out when softening the soup) This is not meant to hurt the restaurant but more as a challenge to please make it better.

Staff were amazing, they were super friendly. You could tell they really cared about the food they were delivering, the chef was awesome. He made amazing food and was super friendly. The vibe of the restaurant is also cute, it’s not large and fantasy but it has a small mom and pop shop type vibe. The food is more than worth it, some of the best sushi I’ve had in Nova Scotia. 10/10

Food are extremely delicious! Ramen soup is very good. The owner and his wife are super nice too and fits all our sushi in the boat. Visually it is great, we love it they also gave us free pot of brown rice tea and it was delicious. Definitely a spot we will visit again!

Omg! Feel lucky with this place. Not the fanciest looking joint but hot damn. From ordering to food on the table took no time at all. Sushi excellent, ramen amazing. And the folks here are lovely.

We always try new places as a family to eat and this was the most beautiful surprise, the owner was very friendly and nice , the sushi was amazing and fresh and the ramen was sooo delicious. The pork was like butter and the broth was soo rich and flavourful. Don’t get caught missing this place, trust me you’ll be sad if you don’t.

Delicious sushi! EXTREMELY nice staff. We arrived near closing time and even after closing time they still let us order more food.
What blew our minds was the fresh grated fresh wasabi … Just magical with the really fresh fish, especially the butter fish, cuttlefish, shrimp and salmon.
And we couldn’t believe the fresh ube and delicious real strawberry ice cream in the halo halo! What an interesting but lovely surprise in a sushi restaurant!
Overall the service was out of this world and the meal was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to others and coming back!
