Wiseguy Lounge – Stellar Bartending and Perfect Vibe
We recently stopped in at the Wiseguy Lounge for a few cocktails and were immediately impressed. Located next to Goodfellas, it’s the perfect spot for great drinks in a cool, low-key setting.
Service Highlight
We met the bartender, Richard, and he was excellent. His skill was immediately apparent, and he made our whole night a success. Richard is truly an outstanding mixologist who clearly takes pride in his work.
Cocktail Consistency
The quality of both the classics and the signature drinks was perfect:
• My Picks: I started with a Gin Fizz that Richard absolutely knocked out the park. I followed that up with a beautiful French 75 before moving to a perfectly balanced Whiskey Sour to finish.
• Rene’s Picks: Rene enjoyed her cocktails immensely, choosing a Marilyn Monroe and the wonderful Sun-kissed Sweetheart.
Dinner Transition
Since the lounge is connected to Goodfellas, we took advantage of the situation, ordered up a pizza, and called it dinner before heading home. That seamless transition from a high-quality cocktail bar to a casual pizza spot made the entire evening effortless.
Final Thoughts
The Wiseguy Lounge is a fantastic destination. When you find a bartender as skillful and personable as Richard, who can make complex classics shine, you know you’ve found a keeper. We will definitely go back!

It’s cute and cozy. Great collection of bourbon and cocktails. The bartender was amazing and very knowledgeable. He asked a couple questions and made the perfect cocktail. He will prove that making a drink is truly a craft of anticipation and skill. It’s a super chill location that also happens to have amazing pizza. You can’t go wrong.

One of the best places to chill! It’s located within the goodfellas pizza place! You can reach here by going inside the pizza place and walking to the back!
Drinks: tried quite a few and all of them were great! The best in my opinion was Sunshine. Though overall great cocktails and you can get pizzas from front here and enjoy it with drinks!
Ambience and music: The songs and overall vibe of the place is great! It’s nice to chill as well as talk! The music isn’t overwhelming and lovely!

For a place meant to stay out of sight, it certainly escaped my notice until now. And when I entered, it was a slice of nice and quiet where I could get a great selection of whiskey and cocktails unique as people. Along with professional bartenders who know their craft, this is a place for “wise guys” like yours truly can get a piece of heaven should you wish it. Cheers to the lounge!

A Mass Ave gem right here. It’s in the back of the Goodfellas Pizza joint. If you’re a whiskey/bourbon person this is the place for you. Hands down best bourbon selection in the city in my opinion. Great specialty drinks, highly recommend the PBJ shot. They make a mean whiskey sour too, it’s a must have. Really chill vibe, with comfortable seating and an outdoor area. If your on Mass Ave and you haven’t been I highly recommend it.

I found Wiseguy lounge in 2019 and have been coming here non stop since then. This speakeasy tucked in the back of Goodfellas pizzeria is a great place to just hang back and enjoy a drink. The bartenders dress nicely and whole place is set to look like prohibition era. I can recommend so many drinks from there but my favorites are dirty smash, Marilyn Monroe and the espresso martini
