I had a very disappointing experience with Hummus Fit regarding a food safety concern.
After opening and eating part of a Hey Arnold! burrito, I noticed dark green/black discoloration inside that appeared to me to be mold. I stopped eating immediately and contacted the company with photos because I was genuinely concerned about safety.
The company reviewed the photos and stated the discoloration was normal tri-color tortilla coloration and not mold. While that may be their position, the appearance was alarming from a customer perspective and made me uncomfortable consuming the rest of my order. The company disagreed with my assessment, but I am sharing my experience as it occurred from my perspective.
What frustrated me most was how the situation was handled. I felt my concerns were dismissed, and I was told a refund would only be issued if I returned the entire order. The interaction ended with a “best of luck with future companies” message, which felt dismissive rather than customer-focused.
I hope they reconsider how customer food safety concerns are addressed going forward.

Wish I DIDN’T live on the completely other side of the country from this magnificent company. I don’t like artificially processed protein bars or protein infused foods. I really like to get my protein from fresh food sources, but THESE MUFFINS. They are such a delicious treat. I love that each muffin has the macros and the grams per serving. So I can weight it out and enjoy across multiple days but still know my macros. These muffins, hit the spot! I order them for different events at our pelvic floor physical therapy clinics and they are such a hit! It is so nice that they have gluten free as well. I wish I could tell you my favorite, but they truly all hit in their own way!

The Buffin Muffins are quite possibly the best macro friendly treats I have ever had. I love them for my nightly sweet treat. Incredible flavors and don’t have the typical protein taste whatsoever. They honestly taste like regular muffins, I don’t know how they do it, but they’re pure magic!

Rating just my overall experience with the company, didn’t get to yet taste the product because my shipment was not delivered in time.
As an FYI the company will attempt to gaslight you about ordering, on their site in the picture below while you’re ordering it shows when you’re delivery will arrive. I placed my order Sunday and based on that it was to arrive Tuesday. Well today is Wednesday and it was supposedly delivered to the location I shipped it to FOR TUESDAY, because I’m no longer there.
I went back and forth with the company on email and they accepted no responsibility and made no attempt to fix it but instead sent me a web link with a different shipping grid showing a Sunday order arrives Wednesday which is completely bullshit.
I paid for the most expensive shipping because I needed this for a VIP event and Tuesday and it didn’t even arrive until Wednesday after 2pm.
Also the order was over $140 so I’m not complaining about some one off order either.
Would not recommend in anyway.

PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES BEWARE. I have a life-threatening tree nut allergy and had an allergic reaction to the “Gluten-free Carbonara Chicken” meal last night, even though there were no tree nuts in the meal per the ingredient list. I brought this to the company”s attention and was informed by them that meals containing allergens are made at separate times, but there was clearly cross contamination in the meal I had yesterday. Additionally, their label was missing ingredients (see time stamps of the change after I brought it to their attention), and there isn’t even any tomato in the meal either so I am wondering if it was mislabeled entirely. The company told me they’d “flag this meal going forward even in the kitchen to overlook and make sure of our protocols,” but I will not be buying from them anymore, which is unfortunate because I do love their meals. Someone with an even more life-threatening allergy would be at a greater risk than me.
