Also they are very very kind and sweet! My friend left her purse and we were already home before we realized that we left it at the restaurant, its now 8:30pm and the restaurant closes at 8pm but i called and left a message trying my luck..they called me back within 2-3mins and told me they would still be in the restaurant even though they’re already closed to the public and they would wait for us… and the sweetest kindest thinh they even gave me and my friend Mango Lassi to tale home with us !!! Amazingly kind people at Rohans Bistro! Thank You soooo much!!
First of all, the flavor is always on point. Everything tastes fresh, rich, and full of real spices not just heat, but actual depth of flavor. What I love most is that they make your food according to your spice preference. Whether you can handle extra spicy or you prefer it mild and creamy, they get it right every single time.
As a Rowan student, the discounts are such a bonus. They also run special offers pretty often, which makes it even easier to keep coming back.
The biggest steal on the menu is the lunch thali. For $16, you get two entrées, one appetizer, rice, naan, and dessert. That’s honestly crazy for the price and portion size. It’s perfect when you want variety or can’t decide on just one dish.
If you go, you have to try the dosas. The butter paneer dosa and the ghee karam dosa are my all time favorites. They’re crispy, flavorful, and so satisfying. Pair them with the tomato chutney and sambar and it’s just chef’s kiss. I could eat that combo every week and not get tired of it.
For non-veg options, the butter chicken is super creamy and comforting definitely a crowd favorite. The chicken korma is smooth and flavorful, and the goat saag is rich and perfectly cooked. For veg dishes, you really can’t skip the saag paneer, aloo curry, and malai kofta. Each one has its own flavor but they’re all equally delicious.
The tandoori chicken and seekh kebab are also amazing smoky, juicy, and full of flavor straight from the tandoor. And don’t even get me started on the naan. It always comes out warm and fresh, and it makes every curry taste even better.
For appetizers, the samosa chaat and onion bhaji are must-orders. They’re crispy, flavorful, and the perfect way to start your meal.
Overall, Rohan’s isn’t just good it’s the kind of place you keep going back to because you know the food will hit every time. Great flavors, generous portions, student-friendly prices, and dishes that genuinely taste homemade. If you’re anywhere near Glassboro and craving Indian food, this spot is 100% worth it.
We were trying to find somewhere to eat and we stumbled upon this hidden gem.
Not only was the service fabulous, the decor was cute, the prices were reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious. We didn’t even realize until we were almost done eating that technically. They had closed at 8pm and still allowed us to come and sit and enjoy ourselves. So I highly recommend to give this spot a shot. You won’t regret it!
Staff was over the top kind.
