On our way to cross the border, we stopped at this charming roadside cafe. Authentic french farmhouse food and service! Loved the Biggie poster and homemade everything. Highly recommend!

Looking for a good breakfast, found it here. Delicious eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, & fruit. The toast & strawberry jam was perfect. Good coffee.

Nice, friendly server. Comfortable ambiance. We’ll return.

A great little diner on the Vermont/Canada border, always filled with regulars. The food is delicious everytime, and great prices for what you get! A must stop for quality food in a welcoming and family owned enviroment ♡

Exiting Canada, we made an impromptu stop to have breakfast. Kate, owner & our server, was personable, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was scrumptious! Atmosphere was quaint, western motif and background music completed the experience. As we were leaving, we chatted with Mike, a local gentleman and very accomplished Army veteran of a bygone era. What a delightful pit stop for us. Thank you, Kate!

After leaving a super-crowded Grand Prix Montreal weekend, we were hoping for a smooth border crossing and sought a quaint breakfast stop first. We came upon Pépé’s of Pike River and couldn’t have been more pleased. Owner Kate personally welcomed us with a warm smile and showed us to our seats. Service was fast and the food was delicious! The cowboy theme with black & white pictures and hats on the wall and comfortable leather couches provides the weary traveler or daily regular a great spot to eat and relax. While we were there, we met a local Vietnam Veteran, Mike S. who proudly showed us his memories of service as a plus. If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend this friendly, down home eatery!

It’s a Diner That Does Everything Right. You know who you are– you are on your way to Montreal, or you are on your way back to Vermont, and you are hungry. You figure you’ll need to stop at some strange place and just take a chance. The chance is worth it at Chez Pepe. We got good french toast, giant sausages, eggs, fried potatoes, and a corn dog. All of it was diner-riffic. Real maple syrup, above average generous servings at very reasonable prices. Waitress was great. Bilingual. Very family friendly.

i only go here for breakfast so thats all I can talk about. the breakfasts tastes pretty much like home made, but its pretty hard to mess up eggs, meat and toasts. the price is a little high for what it is but there is nothing else around so at least you can have a good meal for an ok price.

It’s good when you eat at the restaurant but the last order we made there we got charged a delivery fee for each item… 2 hotdogs costed 7$ with tax. Needless to say we will go eat in person from now on.
