Really great Steak house. Food was on point and delicious. Our server Marcie was very attentive and gave the best recommendations for the food. The Old Fashion drink was the best I’ve ever had(and I’ve had plenty). We definitely recommend that you try for yourself.

What a fantastic anniversary experience!!! Bob’s took care of us from the moment we pulled up to the curb. They have a great valet that is validated so all it costs is a tip. The valet was hustling. We walked in and were greeted with Happy Anniversaryby all the staff. We were seated at a primo table. Mateo took phenomenal care of us. We got to meet his wife Ashley who also works there. Mateo had great dinner recommendations and guided us masterfully to a wonderful selection of foods. We started with the Elijah Craig Old fashioned. Great! Our appetizers the shrimp cocktail. Fresh, meaty and just the right spice in the cocktail sauce. Our entrees were the filet and pan fried lobster and the cote de boeuf ribeye. The preparation and flavor was some of the beat we’ve ever had. Garlic mash, Mac and Cheese and the spinach and mushrooms was truly spectacular. We finished the meal off with a chocolate martini and a crème brûlée. First class all the way. Bob’s lead by Mateo made this a true night to remember. This is one of the top spots in Nashville and will go onto our regular rotation!!!

This was our second visit in a few months. We travel the country and eat some of the best steaks offered. Bob’s is in the top 5 of our fav restaurants…….why? Oysters Rockefeller!!! We end up ordered a second round. They are to die for and you will not have them anywhere this good.
The steaks themselves are tender and cooked spot on. Always high quality beef. Mashed potatoes are too good…..stomach hurt but I kept eating them. Creamed spinach is amazing (the basis of the Oyster Rockefeller) and we put it on everything. Will be back again soon!

My husband and I had a great evening at Bob’s. We were able to sit at the bar top and get full menu service. The bartenders were kind and provided great drink and dinner recommendations. We had the wedge salad with blue cheese, crab cakes to start and the surf and turf with sides for main course. Overall, experience was great. We look forward to returning again when visiting Nashville.

Austin was personable, honest, and provided great conversation at the bar. I ordered an old fashioned, the Caesar salad, and the trio which included the filet, two grilled shrimp, and a crab cake. The food was all fantastic but what made my visit memorable was Austin. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he offered great recommendations not only for the drinks and food but places to visit downtown. We were able to talk about music, sports, and even the weather. All the best restaurants in the country should hope they have an Austin.

Classic dark steakhouse vibe inside the Omni. Bob’s and Omni both started in Dallas, which explains why a lot of Omnis have a Bob’s inside. Sat at the bar — great service. Filet was good but not great — mine had some gristle you don’t expect at this level, but no one else at the table had complaints. Béarnaise sauce helped. Skillet fried potatoes were tasty but heavier than needed. Overall, a solid pick if you want the traditional steakhouse experience without leaving downtown

We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was delicious. Shelton was our waiter and he was very knowledgeable on the history of the restaurant. I do wish the pickles weren’t wasted at the end of the night if they aren’t all eaten as they are very good but a lot to eat when you’re saving room for steak and sides!

I’ll start with the bread pudding . It’s the best bread pudding you’ll ever have! We Tried lots of different menu items here and I recommend just having an appetizer night! So many choices and all were excellent! Especially the fried lobster and the tuna! Shrimps were huge and the sauces for everything was great! The dinner menu. the pork chops were super tender but very salty as were the potatoes. Steak was tender and flavorful. They start you with pickled peppers and bread and both were great. Staff was really great! Very friendly and fun! This place is a bit expensive but definitely worth it! Oh and they have a carrot as a side . I don’t really like carrots but this was honestly like candy!

My dear husband and I decided to try Bob’s Steakhouse for dinner, thanks to a thoughtful gift card from friends. Despite having seen the restaurant many times downtown, this was our first visit. We made a 5:30 PM reservation on a Tuesday, which meant the place was fairly empty—perfect for a quiet, intimate dinner.

From the start, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Laura, our server, was an absolute delight. Enthusiastic and friendly, she set the tone for the evening. We began with drinks—an Old Fashioned for him and an Espresso Martini for me. Both were perfectly strong.

Laura walked us through the featured items, and my husband opted for the sea bass with a side of Brussels sprouts. Interestingly, the sea bass was prepared slightly differently than she had described, so she graciously offered to bring him another dish or drink. He decided to stick with it, happy to try the unique preparation. Laura went above and beyond by offering us a complimentary side or dessert to make up for the mix-up, and we couldn’t resist the dessert!

I chose the 9oz filet, which came with candied carrot, and I paired it with a baked potato. Their signature plating is definitely unique.

Both dishes were cooked to perfection.

To finish, we indulged in the carrot cake—a towering four-layer treat with cream frosting between each layer. It was a decadent end to a wonderful meal.

Overall, the food was very good, but the service was truly exceptional. Laura made our first experience at Bob’s Steakhouse memorable, and we will definitely be back!
