Pur first time trying Donwoori and we were not disappointed! We went for a late lunch. Parking was easy (and free because it’s Sunday). We tried the mandu, curry with chicken katsu, maple gochugang korean fried chicken, army stew, galbi, and korean mango soda. Everything was great and the portions were perfect – not too small but not huge either. Our server Cat was fantastic, gave good recommendations, and was super attentive. We drove from Northfield to try it and I’m so glad we did! We will definitely be back to try more items!

We were visiting from out of town with a group and this place was absolutely perfect. 10 of us showed up tired from traveling and they accommodated a large party with no notice. Everything came out hot and ready at the same time, they kept us hydrated, and consistently checked in with us. The food was the best Korean BBQ I’ve had. My husband got the Korean Classic Chicken Katsu and I got the Surf N’ Turf Fried Rice. Both were excellent!!! The Katsu was the best chicken I’ve ever had. The whole staff was super friendly and nice. Absolutely would recommend, 10/10. Might even go back before we leave town because we loved it SO MUCH!!!

Absolutely incredible. Our server Nghia was attentive, kind, helpful, and went out of his way to make a ‘lemonade’ of his own for me (which was delicious). The food came out quickly and was amazing. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and service you get. Can’t recommend enough.

I was excited to try Donwoori! Ordered two beef bulgogi at $17 each (plus 20% tip for take out). Picture of the two dishes I received as compared to the photo on the website for take out orders. This is the smallest amount of food I’ve ever had for any type of take out. If it is because beef is expensive then you should either charge more for an appropriate amount or change your deceptive picture for take our ordering. Also, while beef was cooked well, the sauce was bland at best.

This bright, cheerful and casual restaurant is located a block off the traffic circle in Winooski. Service was good and the staff friendly. Hard to decide what to order with so many unfamiliar items but golden wings and rice bowl with vegetables and tofu were very good. Worth a try.

Great solid experience! Had some friends visiting town and we checked out the place, the service was great and the place has its own unique vibe!
I haven’t had much Korean food prior, but I thought this had a pretty unique taste and we loved everything we ate! From the bulgogi to the bibimbap we thought it was pretty good. We got the gochujang + maple and mango spicy sauce, they were nice and crispy, juicy, and spicy enough. I will say, if they come up with a spicier sauce I wouldn’t complain.
We went there on the first day they served Soju which was fun, once they have the full bar drinks available it’s probably going to be a great vibe.

Such a friendly staff with such amazing offerings! The noodles are amazing, even if they’re known for their fried chicken. Their original golden isn’t sauced, but they do have a good variety of choices! The honey butter wings were amazing
They have a good variety of specialty sodas and milk drinks, including melon and watermelon soda. They also have banana, strawberry, and taro milk the seating area isn’t very big, but there is an outdoor deck that they might utilize in the future.
As a new restaurant, they are already making a big splash, and I can’t wait to come back and get more of that tasty chicken!
The only thing that was less than stellar was the slaw that was served with the wings. They perhaps needed some more seasoning or time to marinate in the seasoning that it did have. If you like saucier wings, do ask for extra sauce

This is a no frills spot. The location is humble and unassuming, but let’s be honest: who cares about appearances when the cuisine is bomb?
Absolutely recommend after only one visit. Get anything on the menu. You won’t be disappointed!
