Nice steakhouse restaurant in the check-in area of Dulles. Enjoyed a surprisingly good club sandwich at the bar. The bartender Sunny was top notch and really friendly. Service was fast. I like the fact they have real paper menus to peruse.

So I did go to District Chophouse nestled within the airport is an inviting haven amidst the bustle, offering a nice ambiance, amiable staff, and a tidy environment that’s complemented by a backdrop of good music. The location’s proximity to the restrooms is convenient, ensuring easy accessibility without disrupting the dining experience.

Undoubtedly, the dining experience here is remarkable, marked by hot and prompt food service that arrives within a reasonable waiting period of approximately 10 minutes. The tranquility at noon, providing a serene dining atmosphere, was a welcome surprise.

However, the notable drawback emerges in the form of exorbitant prices, a natural consequence of its airport setting. The steep cost of dishes, especially the sides priced at a staggering $10 each, for items like fries or broccoli, might leave patrons bewildered.

Despite the pricing quirks, the impeccable service overshadows these concerns. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness greatly enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the sparse crowd around midday provided a peaceful environment, albeit somewhat unexpected.

It’s essential to note that District Chophouse stands nearly alone before the security checks, making it the primary dining option in the vicinity. No kids menu unfortunately. While the costs might pinch, the overall experience—thanks to the great service, inviting ambiance, and quick service—makes it a viable choice for a satisfying pre-flight meal.

Was great to be able to sit and have a meal, but it was like 5 minutes of standing before anyone asked us to sit down. The food prices were decent and the presentation was great, but I had the fish and chips and it tasted like fish wrapped in a doggy corn dog bread. I just wasn’t impressed. The service was decent, but even for as place that had limited guests and a number of employees, no one checked up on us much or asked us if we wanted more drinks or anything.

This was a great way to enjoy our time before our flight. The District Chophouse is one of two restaurants before security and our gate was not yet open. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of both the food and the service. The atmosphere also gives you a place away from the bustle of the airport. We both had the chophouse burger. As my side, I had the asparagus which was excellent. My husband had the fries. They were also good. The service was exceptional. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This restaurant is located at Dulles International Airport, next to the airline counters. The food is average, and there is nothing particularly outstanding about it. The service and ambiance are also okay.

We were so hungry and tired that we decided to stop by, to have lunch and enjoy our time before our flight. I super recommend the Honey Chicken Sandwich and the Classic Chicken Caesar Salad.

Super friendly server but he didn’t return to refill my water. The chicken tenders came relatively quickly and were tasty and not dried out … good breading and three different dipping sauces! Not a bad price for airport food.

My luggage was delayed at a layover, so I grabbed a bite here — the only place at Dulles that you can sit down and grab a meal before passing through the TSA checkpoint. I went for a straight burger and fries. The fries were crispy, well seasoned, and topped with herbs. The burger patty felt a little dry and flavorless. I’d expect better quality meat at a place where the burgers are sixteen and change. The staff was friendly and delivered attentive service. The interior is clean and hides an attractive and well-stocked bar, certainly a welcome sight to the bland hospital-corridor style backdrop of the Washington Dulles Terminal.

Ordered the Filet Mignon. Asked for the Worcestershire Butter Cream, NO SHIITAKES AND NO GORGONZOLA. 20 min later got it with gorgonzola. Complained. 3 min later got it plain. It is CLEAR the steak was ‘washed’ and rewarmed. The juices from the meat – ordered medium – were plain water. And this was the most expensive item on the menu 🙁

Explain to the host. She said ‘I am sorry’. Got the bill and the charged 4.99 for the “preparation”. Complained. They removed it.

0% service is what they got. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE… If you need food, just go down to cheaper and better options.
