We have eaten three times since they opened on December 3rd. Each time I forgot to take any pictures of the food. This time I was able to get some pictures of what we had to eat Romi Thai is family-owned family, run and the chef is the mother who has been doing this for 20 years. So far we have a lot of favorites but we are narrowing them down. They have lunch specials Tuesday through Friday. With a variety of options. Entrees from Satay chicken, Pad Thai chicken, cashew chicken and Drunken Noodles. We have tried them all with more meals to go. Fast food, made fresh, friendly staff and plenty of experience coming out of the kitchen by Mom. They will work with you to make your meal the way you want it. A salad with ginger dressing. Cucumber soup. Don’t knock it until you try it. My palate and Taste for Thai food is expanding.

This is a new restaurant in Pahrump that has been open about a month at the time of this review. The owners, originally from Chicago, have endeavored to provide a comfortable dining environment with fresh ingredients, generous portions and reasonable prices. They have an extensive selection of bubble teas as well! I’ve had curry dishes at countless restaurants over the years and I can say without question this was one of the best I’ve ever had.

We split an order of the spring rolls and an order of pineapple fried rice. The spring rolls were large and delicious. They are served with a peanut sauce that was very tasty. The fried rice was great. I’m glad we split it because it would have been too much for me alone. Service was speedy and competent. The atmosphere is a little funky, but very pleasant. We sat in a booth and I felt a little like I needed a booster seat. It was a very pleasant experience, and if I lived in Pahrump I’d be a regular at the place. Note that if you pay with a credit card there is a 3% surcharge.

Stopped by this fairly new place as we were passing through during our Death Valley trip and I must say, it did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and the service was quick! We tried the pad Thai and pad see ew and both were so good we left no crumbs on our plate. The owner even came out of the kitchen to check on us during our meal, which I thought made our dining experience that more special! I hope this new business thrives in such a small town!

Romi Thai is going to do VERY well in Pahrump! The service was very good, fast and personable. We walked in as a party of 5 and we had water and menus within a minute of sitting down. The food came out piping hot and very quick despite it being lunch time and they were rather busy. The food is delicious!! We all got the lunch specials which offer a great variety with perfect portion sizes. They also have a variety of bubble teas (boba). I will definitely be coming back.

Romi Thai is the best!! The food is wonderful. My husband and I have tried several of the lunch specials and every one of them has been top notch. I can’t imagine a better Thai restaurant anywhere. The family who owns and runs Romi Thai is so friendly and accomdating. I recommend Bangkok Cashew, Pad Thai, Green Curry, Drunken Noodles, Satay Chicken, Pot Stickers. Also, they have the best salad or soup that is served with the lunch special. The salad has a ginger dressing that is amazing. The soup is also great. If you were disappointed when My Thai left, as I was, you must try Romi Thai. It will not disappoint. You will be very happy.

Had the Chicken Satay app (good) and $19 lunch special Veggie Pad See Ew. Opted for the tofu soup (delicious clear broth) and egg rolls (2) with the lunch special. Great texture and flavor on the noods. Spicy 2/5 had a slight kick.
