This has been a fun place to hang out to play pool, listen to music and eat. They have daily specials and with a running tab the pool table is free DEPENDING on the time and day. I’ve tried the tacos, cheeseburger with fries and bone in wings and all have been delicious! The Malibu Cooler and Margaritas are tasty. The Tea needs help and the water might be tap. The service depends on who you get and is between good and great. I have yet to be there during live entertainment. I can’t quite figure out the “running tab” because each time we have visited friends have questioned the charges. That’s why I say depending on time and day and who is waiting on you. As I said, overall, it is good place.

Wow!!! What an amazing time I had with my nephew. The food was great tasting as always. Tonight we even had vip service because the waitress were very busy. The manager Amanda made sure we had drinks always and was very attentive to our food needs. I just keep on loving this place. I always make sure I stop after work when working in the Harlingen area. Thanks Amanda!! Great service.

A little day drinking and apps is just what we needed as the summer comes to an end and the Rockin Cue Bar served up great food and delicious drinks! Their pineapple Mule was amazing! Our waitress was so friendly and the drink and food service was fast!! The margarita was on happy hour and tasted great!

We went today at around like 2pm as a family. We were there for about 2 hours and not one person came up to us until the very end when we were packing up our pool sticks and gathering the balls. Not to be greeted, not to even take our order. The worst part? We stopped at the pool shop area, bought a glove and of course picked up balls. So we clearly talked to someone. And then to top it all off, to see the review I wrote on Facebook not taken serious and hidden? Poor management. The establishment needs to do better. I love this place, don’t make the new crew turn it to absolute crap.

Was given a gift card for Christmas attempted to use it last May their machine was down. Understandable. Tonight went back and was told my 50.$ gift card wasn’t good anymore. It states treat this as cash only good at the rockin cue in harlingen. No expiration date listed on card. They would not honor it…..very disapointed in their customer service

The food is good. The drinks are good. Wished they would fill up the pints just a little bit more. Great atmosphere, lots of pool tables, live bands, and a dance floor. It’s always a fun place. Staff is attentive and super friendly.

I’m writing this review to WARN OTHERS to PAY CASH when at this place because you will be OVER CHARGED by your server! I hear about this happening at certain bars and clubs, but never expected it to happen to me at Rockin Q because it seemed like a chill and drama free place, but unfortunately I was charged 50 dollars when the bill I signed off on was only $44! What upsets me so much more, is that I gave her a 10 DOLLAR BILL as a tip – trying to be nice tippin good for the holiday season. Our waitress wore a red shirt and used the hand held charge machine that she carried around her wrist. For those saying its not a big deal, I think paying 60 dollars for an appetizer (which I only ordered because our waitress said they were only 5 DOLLARS since it was happy hour), 1 round of Mexican candy shots (3), and 3 bud lights is acceptable, then go ahead and go have your money stolen from you right before Christmas.

If you are looking for a good night, it’s not here. Security is lazy to walk around the bar so they focus entirely on the first few tables and create problems from absolutely nothing.
Security told our server(who was a sweetheart) to cut us off because we were too drunk. Excuse me? The guys were about 3 beers in, 1 shot in. Us, girls, only had 2 drinks.
Also, a couple was kissing and they got a whole talk on “no PDA.” It’s a bar. 21+. I understand if it’s a restaurant but things like that are expected at a bar. Then, a friend accidentally put his beer on the side of pool table, so security approached him to remove the drink. He moved it immediately and apologized. Made sure to dry up the wood too. He got into deep convo with the guys an hour ish later and accidentally did it again. So security; who had been staring us down all evening, came and told him again. He sincerely apologized and wiped it again. Big guy security comes in for NO reason RAISING his voice saying “Hey we already told you 2 times ; we shouldn’t have to, bla bla bla. He was just looking to start something. Police officer did nothing except kick us out. Ridiculous place. Security is on their power trip. Even if you wanted to say we were “too drunk” , yall kept preying on the other nearby tables as well. Security must have been bored. Should have known they would be problematic when they overanalyzed our IDs by checking them under lights and different angles for 2 minutes. Everything security did here was absolutely uncalled for and overall, unprofessional. As mentioned, our server was very kind.

Personally, I’m not a pool player so I just sat at the bar and the bartender DK is the best!!! Our phones died and he charged them for us while we were sipping on our drinks. Haven’t tried the food yet, but the drinks were amazing. Would’ve taken more pictures of them, but our phones were charging
