One of our favorie ramen spots. Very fresh ingredients and packed full of flavor. Definitely a go to spot if you want ramen. The mapo tofu is also really good on their crispy noodles.

Very tasty food and always great service! The combo meals are always a good choice for variety. This visit we got the gyoza teishoku and mini miso ramen with mini fried rice.

I visited for the first time yesterday and loved it! I ordered the mochiko chicken, which was delicious. The place was busy, with people waiting outside, but I didn’t have to wait as I sat on the bar-side seating, which gave a great vibe. They also have regular tables, but I enjoyed the bar-style atmosphere. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

After a medical procedure in Pearl City, we decided to grab lunch at Daiichi Ramen. The food here was really good and the service was great. My mom really enjoyed Shrimp curry. Generous portions- crispy light battered shrimp and curry with nice chunky well cooked veggie pieces. My Mochiko chicken was yummy. Lots of flavor with the spices. My husband had the Pork fried rice with a side order of Chicken Katsu which he liked and we all three shared croquettes and gyoza. The gyoza was full of flavor and very tasty. The croquettes were good- I prefer them more on the crispy side, but it’s a minor thing. Staff was very nice & helpful. Packed my order nicely in a box taped down well for the ride home in the truck and opened the door for me to leave. The Inside was small but clean and parking was decent- gets much busier during lunchtime of course, so come earlier if decide to check it out. Mahalo for reading and have a Beautiful Day!

Saw there was a lot of traffic heading home today so we decided to have dinner somewhere in Pearl City. We were actually planning to go to Ramen Ya across the street at Pearl City Gateway, but then remembered there was a Panda Express across the way and opted for there, since I hadn’t eaten at Panda’s in a while. But when we parked we saw there was Daiichi Ramen and remembered just a few nights ago it poped up while we were hanging with friends looking for a place to eat. Ultimately that time with friends we ended up going to Zippys so this time we decided it was worth a shot and ended up trying something new.
When we walked in it was fairly busy with all but two of their tables occupied. We were seated near the back of the restaurant which some people don’t like but I prefer since it’s out of the way. When we finally decided on what we wanted my partner had the Special Combo with the mini ramen, mini curry, and chicken katsu, and I had the regular mochiko chicken curry. My order took a bit longer to come out than the rest of our items but everything was delicious once they came out, and portion size was fairly large.
Overall the atmosphere, service, and food were all very good. Service was attentive yet not overbearing, the ambiance was comfortably busy without being too noisy, and the food was just as satisfying as I was hoping it would be. I would certainly come here again.

This exceptional restaurant provides outstanding food accompanied by impeccable service. Within just three minutes of placing our order, our meals were promptly served. I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness of the staff, who ensured our satisfaction throughout the dining experience. My water glass never seemed to dip below half-empty, a testament to their attentive service. Overall, the combination of delectable cuisine and exceptional service makes me eager to revisit this establishment, even if it means going out of my usual way.

Place hasn’t changed much except the prices. Chicken katsu curry cake with 2 chicken katsu with a lot of rice and curry. I see why it’s a comfort food restaurant for local style Japanese food.

Brunch on Sundays. Service was fast and service from warmth and friendly servers. Portion was to my liking, no waste food as leftovers. Tasty fried rice
and gyoza. Comparing price to other vendors with similar food, over here is cheaper but taste as awesome as other related restaurants.

They use a powder base for their ramen. Not real bone marrow and they also use basic ramen noodles. Literally like top ramen noodles.
They messed up my order. Asked for extra noodles. Wasn’t prepared provided but they did make it right (the manager) and that was appreciated. Won’t try again. One of the worst ramen restaurants I’ve ever tried.
