We had a fantastic experience thanks to our waiter, Miles. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. We figured we’d give it a try. The food was fantastic!! The service was exceptional! I would definitely recommend & we will definitely be back! Heads up…though do not have a liquor license yet. They’re hoping by next month. When I made the reservation online they called me back to let me know, which I thought was great! Also…you have to pay to park on the street. We didn’t know that. My husband was going to move the car & they took our keys & moved it for us! The staff are very friendly & very attentive!

Food was fantastic and service was even better. Izzy showed tremendous hospitality throughout our dinner. All of the food was very fresh and made with quality ingredients. My favorite dish of the night was the carpaccio. Light and tender but packed with flavor. We had chocolate lava cake, cheesecake and hot chocolate for dessert that are all house made. I honestly can’t say which was better. We will be back again and wish them much success here on the water front.

My hubby and I came to Il Fiume for a date night and we were absolutely not disappointed, if anything, it exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Izzy and Timmy were delightful hosts, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which set the tone for a perfect evening.
The food was outstanding. The burrata was simply delicious and bursting with flavour, perfectly creamy and fresh. The Caesar salad was crisp and refreshing, done just right. My lobster ravioli was a standout, rich and creamy, cooked al dente, and generously filled with tender chunks of lobster in every bite. For my main, the steak was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and paired beautifully with a delicious side of sautéed veggies and golden potato wedges. And the dessert… absolutely decadent, the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
Between the incredible food, lovely atmosphere, and exceptional service, Il Fiume is a must try. Whether it’s a special occasion or a cozy date night, this place truly delivers. We will definitely be back!

Amazing. Sat us down really quickly and then the manager came to greet us. Tables overlook the Hudson River. So pretty ! House made bread and Caesar salad was fantastic. Main courses were great, but the star of the show was the carrot and cheesecake all made inside the kitchen. Highly recommend a must come if you are in the area.

Recently we stumbled on the opening of this new restaurant on the the Newburgh Waterfront. At the time, they hadn’t yet obtained their liquor license, but we decided to give it a try. The ambience was very inviting with a view of the river, lighting and decor was tastefully done. It wasn’t crowded, as we were told it was a soft opening with the Grand opening soon to come. The menu was creative with unique dishes. We started with the sautéed clams, which were probably the best I’ve eaten. For dinner I had the Branzino Piccata fish which was delicious. My Friend had the Risotto Frutti di Mare which was also tasty. We found everyone that worked there to be so friendly. We wish them success with their future, and totally recommend trying this restaurant.
