Cleaned my plate! The food was soo good, my husband got a Cowboy Burger with sweet potato fries and I got the chicken Caesar salad with truffle fries. We talked with the owner and he was so great and upbeat! We’re looking forward to coming back and bringing friends

Came here on Friday, so fish fry! We got Lake Superior whitefish sandwiches, one Cajun and one fried. Beautifully dressed with lettuce, nice tomatoes, and sliced onions. The fish was fresh and excellently prepared. I got wafflle fries which were nice and hot and crisp; wife got sweet potato fries, had a very nice seasoning and were hot and crispy outside and soft inside, perfect. Hostess as friendly and helpful as could be. Food came quickly.

Awesome atmosphere. The owner is one of a kind… he really puts his heart into making it better and really cares! Food was great and fast to get out. Drinks were great as well. Definitely recommend trying it out. I even got a cool shirt!

35th anniversary dinner… didn’t know a ribeye from whatever that gristly meat was, not a steak. Owner and cook with dumbfounded looks, cook said he doesn’t buy the meat. Waitress said, that isn’t a ribeye later on. I don’t know the “defraud innkeeper” law here, so paid the bill and not totally ruin the night. Been there a dozen times, once after this, not again, hit and miss, just get there before they’ve had too many. Don’t bother replying, you didn’t care then, don’t care now…

Hiked all day at copper falls park and specifically went here for lunch after a great experience last year . Did not disappoint. Best truffle fries I’ve had anywhere . Olive burger was tasty, cooked perfectly on a nice bun. Owner and staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Bar is clean, doesn’t smell Smokey or greasy. Just a great bar/pub.

Great place, Bob was more then accomodating with my room reservation for Sunday night, got there at dinner time, so many good choices on the menu, was looking for a good burger, Bob recommended the Copper Cow burger and fries, was awesome! Waitstaff friendly and food came out quick. Good atmosphere, friendly locals, a must stop at place if you are in the area!

The family agreed that this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The food was very good, portions were generous and prices were very reasonable. My 7 y.o. had to ask the server how fresh the chicken was that his chicken strips were made from because they were so good – and the kid knows his chicken strips.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Can’t score atmosphere as we were there fairly early in the day, but the bar was starting to fill up as we were leaving, if that’s your thing…
