Our dinner at Casa Teresa was an amazing experience from start to finish. What makes this place so special is the atmosphere; it truly felt like we were guests in someone’s private home rather than just dining at a restaurant.
The wait staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring every detail of our evening was perfect. Their warmth and hospitality matched the quality of the meal, which was nothing short of fantastic.
If you are in Punta Mita and looking for a dining experience that feels intimate, authentic, and high-end all at once, this is the place to go!

We had the absolute best experience at this quaint, magnificently quirky restaurant that’s been delighting guests for 27 years. From the moment we walked in, it felt special.
We originally had a reservation for Tuesday night, but when we found ourselves scrambling to find dinner on Monday — as many places in the village were closed — Ricky welcomed us in without hesitation. He is the definition of hospitality and kindness, and his entire team treated us like longtime friends.
And the food was truly outstanding. Every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
This place is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience. Don’t miss this gem.

All around 10/10. My wife and I were visiting from Arizona and were recommended this place. Very happy we went. The food was amazing and the service was excellent from the top to the bottom. The owner, Ricky, visited with us at our table and shared the story of this family business. Live music was another hit – my wife couldn’t believe it was live it sounded so good. Very romantic and authentic experience. Thank you Ricky and co!

Absolutely the best place for atmosphere, food, and service during our visit to Punta Mita! While staying at the Four Seasons, we made the trip to Casa Teresa twice because we loved the warm hospitality of the owners, Nada and Ricky Martin. The atmosphere is truly special, the food was fantastic, and we were treated to great entertainment with a live singer that made the evenings even more memorable. A must-visit if you’re in Punta Mita!
Nada and Ricky, we hope to see you again soon in the future!

I visited Casa Teresa twice in one week during an extended work trip and both experiences were exceptional. I ordered the gnocchi the first night and the gnocca the second. Both were delicious. They have a vocalist they nicknamed the Mexican Elvis and that is spot on. The music Playlist varied from Elvis, to 80s favorites, and all over the board. His voice is silky and perfect for the ambiance. He takes requests and is a key part of the experience at Casa Teresa. I did not have a chance to speak to the owner before we left though he visited our table several times during our dinner. I would have told him how impressed we were and how much we enjoyed our time at his home based restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

This Italian restaurant is our go-to spot when we come to Punta Mita! The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier and attentive. Add in a great selection of wines and cocktails, and it’s the perfect place for a night out or a casual dinner. Highly recommend!

This was recommended by our hotel bartender. We have eaten at a dozen restaurants in Punta de Mita in the last 8 days. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service was fantastic. An ideal setting that was very romantic. Upon entering they offer a cocktail in the bar, be sure to ask for the price as they are not posted, the one we asked about was 380 pesos so we passed on it. After 10 minutes we were seated at our table. It was very lovely right beside a fireplace. We ordered the Caprese apple appetizer which was very good, and the focaccia they serve is delicious . However, the main pasta we had was subpar. The lasagna was not top quality, the sauce was like tomato soup, and the dish itslefwas lacking overall substance and flavour. We have eaten in Italy many times and this misses the traditional flavors. The gnocha Italian sausage dish was good, but compared to the price point I would not order it again. The cocktail and wine prices are expensive even compared to the restaunts along the beach. So I guess it depends what you are looking for in a meal. For us the meal was average and when you factor in the cost there are better options in town.
